Drizzle By The Beach — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I would leave zero stars if I could ….Gonna be a lengthiest review but pls do read it before you decide to visit this …Infact it’s not worth for rating also … I found this to be completely unacceptable and we had a group of 6 elders 3 kids and one pet as it is pet friendly place we chose this restaraunt and menu in the hotel site was good …first thing is menu is not as they promised…We asked one day in advance on the menu and they very poshly said menu is as per mentioned in the website .We entered around 12.25 pm for lunch and they requested us to give 30 more minutes to make buffet ready …We too waited patiently and finally they jus gave one soup and streamed rice with rasam …When we approached them for menu they said all the items will get ready in another few mins and it all came around 2pm only . That too it was jus gravy for roti but roti was not there . No kids friendly food was there and they were not ready to take order separately also even though we were ready to pay …They focus only on the buffet price which is 850 but not on providing quality in serving food .when we called the owner she spoke very arrogant and she dint even step out of her room to sort out these issue .We finally ordered pizza from dominoes and gave to kids.Very bad worse experience. Don’t get fooled by their google reviews and rating…It is tasteless, less than clean, and just yuck! Buffets tend to have something we will end up liking, but not here. Only go here if you have at least two hours to waste. The food was awful. The service a disaster. You will wait, and wait, and wait, at every step of the process. Again, the food is not worth waiting for – not even 5 minutes. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT EAT HERE. Owner & Staff are TERRIBLE. Food is always off, food that is delivered GETS YOU SICK. DO NOT EAT HERE! Everyone who works there acts like they would rather be somewhere else instead. It shows in both the service and the food. You will never see me...

3 weeks of bland food due to illness gets a break. As we headed to shop breads at #OMBC , looked to catch-up for a quick lunch.

Why not a beach side resto, on a really gloomy day? Headed here. There are 3 types of seaters. One in an open area in the ground floor, another a closed space in ground floor and a rooftop (Vaanam) in the 2nd floor, overlooking the sea.

Venue - Amazing interior, giving me the vibe of Canarian bars. Very helpful staff and scenic view with ample parking space.

Service - They are really nice people, just need some training. The person who took our order was noting it down in a really tiny piece of paper. By the third dish, the paper was done. If I had to ask for extra spoons or side plates, finding a person to ask for was super hard.

Food : Spinach and Orange Soup, Gobi Manchurian, Peas Pulao, Tandoori Roti, and Malabar Fish Curry.

Never heard of such a combination on the soup entree. Yuvi, loved it. It didn't work for me as it wasn't warm enough. Tasted like the chilled soups.

Loved the pulao and fish curry, thanks for that. Manchurian, was a bit salty and too spicy. Didn't wanna complaint, as we had already polished half with rice.

Rotis were super hard, we had to take it away as it was super hard to break em and eat it.

What needs improvement - Someone to ask for feedback, a better process to take orders ( they keep forgetting dishes, as it's written in a tiny piece of paper), keeping the restrooms cleaned often, having a sanitizer in the venue and ofcourse the plastic cutlery, cutlery holder and melamine plates ( there were more scratches than the surface of the plate.)

Overall a mixed feeling, because of the quality of the food. Definitely worth a visit for the view overlooking the beach!

I don’t have 0 star rating option so giving 1.

I booked seats for 5 people(3Male, 2Female) today at this place and went.

Once we reached there, we went to the rooftop seats and order some starter and drinks, after that we went down to the DJ night as it was a Club night of the restaurant.

We specially came to enjoy the DJ night but after 15 mins, at 10:15 PM, they stopped the DJ and gave the reason as electric problem.

We went again for food to rooftop and they said, we are closing for today and they asked us to go in rude manner. They were not telling the reason.

When we thought to go out at the same time, 10+ police cops came to the restaurant and they were checking entire restaurant and they started taking our videos at the restaurant itself. Even girls were present with us, what about their privacy.

Till that time none of the restaurant person were ready to tell the real reason.

Then we asked to call the manager, they said manager is on leave. We asked for his number, they said we don’t have.

At last we came out of the restaurant and asked 1 of the restaurant person whether they have the licence for the bar and then he said that, they don’t know if they have the valid license for the bar and restaurant.

This all happened today. I have only 1 concern, how you guys add these type of restaurant without any verification, at the end your diner has to face problem like this.

This is truly worst experience with the restaurant and also with the eazy diner service which has given such worst restaurant to choose in their application.

I have no idea, what action you are going to take against the restaurant but I have 1 request to you guys, please validate all the restaurant once at your end.
