New Sea Lord Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Normally I don't put food reviews in Google. But I decided to do it today.

We decided to eat dinner at Sealord restaurant at triplicane today. First we ordered chicken clear soup to start the feast. All three of us sensed a weird bad smell in the soup. When we complained to the staff regarding it, we received a comment "chicken clear soup smells like this only". So far I have drank chicken clear soup in so many hotels in Chennai and everywhere taste always remains top-notch. At least we can compromise the taste but not the bad smell and rotten aroma. So the hotel staff told us that they can't cancel the order, and we agreed and told them that it smells so bad with the aroma around our seat and requested them to take off the soup from our table. It took 20 minutes for them to take it from our table. What an ignorance from the hotel management.

To be Frank, nothing special in this hotel. Particularly, the way they prepare chicken related dishes ( chicken soup, chicken kothu poratta) is the worst in chennai. We are paying money to eat quality foods in the big branded restaurant, we would have ended up with Street foods which tastes better compared to this cheap...

Worst Behaviour from a person in this restaurant.We went to this hotel for lunch last week with my husband and my baby1 year old Since my baby doesn't feel comfortable when we sit on chair we always prefer to sit in sofa seats.When we sat on sofa this man asked to get up and change the table to two seater.even when we request for sofa this man was very rude and says like what is some other customers come and ask the sofa seats. Is this how you behave with your customers?Varadha antha naalu perukaga vandha enga moonu peraum anupivachutan.we can adjust for ourselves but never compromise my baby comfort..really we felt bad on that day. Because I was in urge to feed my baby also.worst behaviour from him.i came down and complained to the receptionist even he doesn't care about us..only the watchman supported(only good soul I saw in the restaurant) Kindly note Anga only 10 to 20 percent seats were filled with people and time is around 3pm... we are the family who use to go different type of restaurants regularly,life la intha mari evanum panadhila Crowd restaurants la kuda.very worst human .he is the one who arrange for seat in AC other than that I don't know...

Horrible Experience – Worst Service & Unhygienic Food!

I had the absolute worst dining experience at this restaurant. The service was beyond terrible—slow, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional. It felt like the staff couldn’t care less about the customers.

The food was even worse! The Afghani Chicken had foreign objects inside, which was completely disgusting. To make matters worse, the Hot and Sour Chicken Soup smelled raw, making it absolutely inedible. Khizhi parotta was okaish. It was clear that hygiene and food safety are not a priority in this place.

When I brought these serious issues to the management, I expected at least some level of concern or an apology. Instead, they were rude, dismissive, and completely lacked empathy or sympathy. They refused to take responsibility and didn’t even offer a solution.

This place is a total nightmare—unsafe, unsanitary, and run by people who don’t care about customers. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Stay far away if you value your health and...
