BE CAREFUL with the staff. Our group had 15 persons and all had taken meals at noon. Meals had 2 proper curries excluding 'ozhichu curries'. First time serving of curries itself will take significant delay and so everyone started eating before getting them..and by the time some of us got curries, we had finished the meals with 'ozhichu curries'.
Now the important point. I was totally busy as I had to manage and coordinate 15 persons. I was carrying my wife's bag too as she was carrying the kid. I had kept it underneath the table. Unfortunately after finishing the meals, I forgot to take her bag which contained her mobile, as I was busy with the remaining payments (other than meals tokens) and managing others. We got out of the hotel and after 3-4 minutes I realised that I had forgotten the bag.
Immediately I rushed back. As soon as I enquired about the bag, one person ?manager, called for other staffs, and quickly they all assembled there and together they started interrogating me (It would have been perfectly ok, if it was to ensure that I am the actual owner of the bag; but it wasn't and it was as if I had done a heinous act and they were a little rude too). They surely might had examined the bag contents and had got the impression that we would fall for the bag; so they wanted to make it a bargain.
We all might have gone to 50s or100s of restaurants; when 15 persons take food from a hotel, they usually treat us as valuable customers and show a nice face. So in such an incident they would have happily returned the forgotten items. Instead this hotel staff asked me for extra money for 'saving my bag'. I gave 100 rs, which didn't satisfy them. So I had to give 200 rs extra for my 'grave mistake'. They were telling that it's for 'the hotel boy' who saved my bag; I will be really happy if it actually reaches 'him', though I felt it as a fabricated story. So overall, we all felt really bad for coming...

We visited during dinner time, and the place was crowded. The staff seemed unprepared to handle the rush, and the service was very slow — by the time food arrived, we had lost our appetite. Option is very less , The cashier was busy with his own calculations instead of attending to customers.
The taste of the food was just average.
Later, we tried the nearby Anjappar Hotel, and the experience was much better. The food was freshly made, service was quick, and everything tasted great. Must try: idly, dosa, and parotta with their complimentary chicken gravy. Their sambar was excellent , better than what many branded veg restaurants offered in Tamilnadu
Suggestion: Skip "Annapoorna" and try "Anjappar"next door for a...

I said this much of it torn will work. He seemed to be argumentative so I gave him a 200 rupees note and he extremely rudely passed a comment that I have such many town 20 rupees notes why don’t you take them all then. He seemed to me frustrated and mental. I told him you don’t need to be rude when I have given you 200 rupees you can simply give me back my change and leave. Cheap man did not know how to talk and seemed...
