Sree Murari — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We went to your hotel today for lunch. The building n get up looked posh. We were told onlyvthaali available .only one king no choice. There was aka cart. Ordered chapathi n paneer butter masala which was good . We ordered soup.they gave a small steel bowl with a small teaspoon!!! No proper bowl or spoon. Noodles was just ok. saucewas served in plastic sqeezy containers. Gobi 65 was ok but too much of Chaat masala sprinkled over it was too much. Onion rings served with it was dry n stale. Now come to bill. The credit card they said WiFi not working two times cards swiped n failed transaction.!!! The waiter was too naive. He was in too much hurry to give bill before we finished ordering. He did not show any interest in asking us if we would like some dessert or anything else. We had been to this restaurant on 14th Sept 2024 for lunch. We had ordered sambar rice. We were served sambar rice in about 15 minutes. When we were about to eat, we noticed that there were plenty of peppercorns in Sambar rice !!! The rice also tasted like pongal. Then we realized that the cook had mixed leftover pongal with sambar and that was served as sambar rice. We immediately called for the supervisor and expressed our utter displeasure and showed him the cook's mischief. The supervisor apologized profusely and he replaced the adulterated sambar rice with curd rice.

Today we had breakfast. Idlis were cold and rubbery, very difficult to even cut and do not disintegrate even with so called sambar. Sambar was mere salt water having some dhal. No taste or aroma. Two white and red chutneys were watery. Vada was half boiled having some other worst smell. The guest next to my table also felt this and left his vada after eating only one pinch. I lodged the complaint with the person handling the cash counter. Murari was best for traditional food, but type of worst food will mar the name and fame. Must take this seriously and improve the...
