Sri Saravana Bala — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

My all-time favorite place to visit when I return to my hometown is a restaurant renowned for its delicious vegetarian food, especially for dinner. The taste and quality of the food are exceptional, making it one of the top choices for vegetarians.

Please note, due to its popularity among tourists and saree shoppers, it can get crowded on weekends. I recommend trying their other branch, located about 2km away. The new branch offers ample dining space, air conditioning, and convenient car parking facilities. It's definitely worth a visit too!

I recently visited Sri Saravana Bala’s second branch and ordered meals, but the experience wasn’t great. The food was too messy, and the curries were really bad. However, the sambar with papad was quite delicious, which was a small relief. The service, on the other hand, was disappointing—very slow and inattentive. Sri Saravana Bala had a funny crowd, which made the experience feel chaotic. The poor maintenance of the restaurant was another downside. The atmosphere was disturbing, with too much noise and lack of cleanliness. For a well-known restaurant, I expected much better. It definitely didn’t meet the standards of good dining. Visiting first Time 15.3.24 evening 5 45 P.M. Parking roadside, AC and Non AC dining available, in AC 6 Tables bit cramped, Ordered Pongal, Medhu Vadai, Poori, Onion Rava, Coffee and Hot Badam Milk.

Since early dinner we are the first guest Nice Chilling by OG AC, Pongal was good with good quantity hot, with ghee, and pepper cooked with right combination of rice and dhall, Tasty with sambhar and chutney. Katharikai ghotsu would have better combination.

Poori Aalo / potatoes were tasty but poori made in poor wheat not good.

Onion Rava Crispy and tasty likes tangy chutney much.
