Highly Disappointing Experience – Avoid! Our recent visit was a complete disaster, offering no value for money and showing a blatant disregard for customer service. We were seated at Table 22, and the assigned server was incredibly inattentive. We practically had to beg for basic necessities like water, spoons, and extra plates.

We ordered the Thallu Vandi Fried Rice, which was served on a plate without any cutlery like spoons or side plates. We were left waiting for a long time just for spoons, feeling like we were expected to eat with our hands. When we tried to flag down other staff members, they simply stated they weren't assigned to our table. Meanwhile, our designated server was nowhere to be found, disappearing for extended periods.

His dismissive attitude and the overall lack of service were appalling. We had planned to order more items but were so frustrated by the experience that we decided to cut our meal short and leave. It felt as though local customers were being disrespected in favor of outside customers , with a clear lack of uniformity in treatment. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had, and we left feeling utterly frustrated.

Tasty and healthy food. Well cooked and served hot. Staffs were polite and very helpful. Well maintained and cleaned bathroom. Italian cusines will impress you for sure specifically the deserts. Our captain Jayalakshmi has explained about dishes which will suit us and if we had confusion of opinion to go which food, she helps with her expertise. Other staffs were also polite and gentle on the deserts area. Never try variety rice such as curd or sambar rice. Definitely will disappoint you if you ate the same in saravana bhavan. Momos served was top notch especially the fillings (mushroom). Overall, had a good gourmet food in south indian resturant but misses it authenticity in south Indian variety rice. Prices are expensive. We spent 3k for 4 people which surprises me (to note: we had deserts (1qty) such as Tiramisu, mango tikka, litchi, cheese cake, which cost around 800 Rs) which is inclusive of the bill amount mentioned. I recently dined at vasantha bhavan kanchipuram, and while the food was certainly delicious, what truly stood out was the outstanding service provided by our server, Ms.Priya.

From the moment we were seated, Ms.Priya made us feel welcome and well-cared-for. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and answering our questions with genuine enthusiasm.

What impressed me most was her attention to detail. She noticed when our glasses were low before we had to ask, checked in at just the right moments (never intrusive), and handled special dietary requests with ease and professionalism.

Priya’s friendly demeanor and excellent customer service truly elevated our dining experience. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only efficient but also makes you feel like a valued guest. I’d definitely return—not just for the food, but for the service as well.
