We had gone to this place for the second time. Previously we had been for lunch. Lunch was good. Expected to have a good dinner this time. But sadly we were disappointed.
The AC as well as fan wasn't working. The place was very sultry and hot. The wash basin was clogged and was not even been taken care of. Though the staff were friendly there weren't enough of them to cater to the guests needs.
We ordered manchow soup, vegetable clear soup, stuffed paneer starter, butter rotis, paneer kadai, veg fried rice and casata ice cream.
Soups were very hot and tasty. Paneer starter was awesome, though we had to wait for nearly an hour after ordering. Butter rotis were made of mixture of maida and wheat. We have expected wheat ones. Paneer kadai was little spicy though we mentioned we wanted mild spices. Fried rice was made of spoilt rice. This disappointed us the most. Casata of hamour brand. It was good
Overall: If the place was maintained a bit more better it would...
Read moreVery good vege restaurant in center of Salem city. North Indian and Chinese dishes at natural taste. The dine arrangements are awesome with out distrubing the antique of old house. The wall paintings and roof designs are catchy and well-suited. The tables gives the feel of dine with family togetherness. The staffs are polite and neat. The service rendered by them should be appreciated. The dishes are neatly presented with requirements. The masala papad is superb with so fitting veges and masala. Sure you will ask for more. The schewag soup was so delight with proper spice and mix with density. The rotis and kulcha brings back home taste to tongue. Paneer manjurian is perfect with softness and soupy. Fried rice is so aromatic. Hotel is nicely supported by hygiene sweet stall and quite parking space. Kudos to team for...
Read moreIt was a nice experience to have a Punjabi food in Tamilnadu. It was tasty and delicious. Staff is well mannered and quick. Food was really great proper Punjabi made. Hotel interiors and designs are made like a Punjabi retro place with few posters on the walls with Punjabi movie captions. Nice atmosphere with slight touch of music. Alongwith Punjabi dishes there are Mumbai styled Bhel-Pani Puri and Pav-Bhaji dishes are also available, but those are not that great. There is also a nicely placed sweets shop available with variety of sweets. Many options in fruit juices are available. Cards payment is acceptable. But costly as compared to...
