Writing this review after 6 years hoping things might have changed, but only the interiors have changed, the quality of food is average. The quality of food is not consistent for the past few months. They used to give mayonnaise which was good before a month. But now the same dish I order I dont get it and the taste of food is changed. If you like a little bit of sweet in your chicken you can try the malai kebab. The chicken tikka was rubbery. Ordered chicken meals and there was a surprise waiting for us when we get the bill. Chicken meals here means its a Chicken Chetinad Gravy (INR 240) + Half meal rice bowl (INR 80). This was not addressed to us when the order was placed. If there is no such dish in the menu please convey it to customer. The average bill for 3 people for casual lunch was 780 INR. Chetinadu chicken gravy was good. But getting it for each person in the name of chicken meals is unacceptable because a bowl of chetinadu chicken graving is not meant for one serve. They have car parking and childrens play area. Good place for a Group lunch or a group dinner (above 4 people). They accept cards. Not sure if they accept UPI payments. Crowded at peak hours. Not sure about it. But seen lot of cars on a peak hour. The service can be improved further so that there is no surprise when the customer empty the plates and get the check. Hoping the changes might be done in upcoming years. Thanks for...
Read moreIf you’re in Tirunelveli and craving some truly satisfying non-vegetarian food, this place is an absolute gem. The moment you step in, you’re greeted by the aroma of freshly cooked spices and a bustling, homely atmosphere. It’s not a fancy setup, but that’s part of its charm — it’s all about honest, flavorful food.
Their chicken and mutton biryani are standouts — cooked with traditional Seeraga Samba rice, the biryani isn’t oily or overpowering. Every bite is perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The mutton is tender and cooked just right, falling apart easily without being dry. Another must-try is their fish fry, usually made with fresh catch from the nearby coasts. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor.
Service is quick, and the staff are polite and attentive even during peak hours. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous, making it great value for money. What also sets this place apart is their consistency — whether you go on a weekday or weekend, the quality doesn’t drop.
If you’re someone who appreciates authentic South Tamil Nadu non-veg cuisine — spicy gravies, hot parottas, crispy fries — this hotel won’t disappoint. It’s clearly a local favorite, and once you’ve eaten there, you’ll know why. Definitely a go-to spot for anyone wanting to experience real Tirunelveli non-veg...
