The original Baba Falooda Is Situated ar Mahim near the Makdoom Shah Baba Darga. From its name, I think the shop gets its name from the darga, near it.

Baba Falooda has two more Mumbai outlets at Kurla and Jogeshwari.

Adjoining a row of other eateries, the Baba Falooda Thane store stands out for its glass frontage and colorful signage.

They sell faloodas, ice creams, milk shakes, rabri, kulfis and ice cream sandwiches.

You must order and pay in advance for your icecream at the order counter.

They have a chain barricade to separate the store staff from the customers. Likely a post pandemic precaution.

I ordered a black currant falooda on my lone visit to Baba Falooda. They served it in a plastic cup with a spoon.

The presentation of my falooda was attractive, but the taste was average. The ice cream came with a black currant syrup on top.

The ice cream was good but the rabri with noodles, sabza seeds and dry fruits was bland. Somehow the blue black currant ice cream didn't gel with the brown rabri

I felt the falooda was a chaotic mixture of rabri and ice cream not carefully paired for color or flavor.

There is no seating and diners must stand along the wall and eat at the counters on it.

The store is air conditioned which is a relief. The store staff are attentive and helpful.

One of them saw me clicking pictures of the display menu outaide and promptly offered me their thick menu booklet.

Baba Falooda is worth a try if you don't know what is a falooda. However, you must choose a variety in which the ingredients gel well.

Today was my special day and i decided to gv treat to my family members i asked for baba special falooda parcel as i had bad experience before when i took parcel in which it was like milk shake ice creme got melted totally n i told him today that last time it was melted today can you make sure ice creme is not melted . So he replied with attitude " parcel leke jaoge toh melt hoega hi na" . I told him i just stay 2 mintues away from shop so he said again with attitude " ice cue jaise paani meh dalteh ho tabhi kaisa melt hota hai waise hi ice creme mmelt hota hai ". So he offered me option off buying extra ice creme worth 80 rupees as i bring my family i buy that ice creme. But i feel so angry inside that i decided i wont buy again anything from there ever. I hate it now onwards. For you guys customer asking what u supposed to provide is enemy with ur attitude i conclude that. M gng back to cremechills ice creme where ice never melt in 2 minutes in parcel like ice cube. The main reason ice creme melts coz u guys make parcel orders well before time. To hide this real reason you fool us giving theory of 3 minutes and ice cube melts when u put in water . Pathetic. Suggestion to those who is reading this never take parcel orders n alsp dont ask for real ice creme orelse u also have to listen attitude bhara 3 minute theory, ice cube melt example.
