My friends and I recently visited Sai Krupa Restaurant, and our experience was highly disappointing. Despite its reputation, the food was mediocre at best. While we were expecting a feast of flavors, what we received was bland and uninspired. The high prices added insult to injury; the food was TOTALLY NOT WORTH SUCH A PRICE. It felt like we were paying a premium for nothing more than a mediocre meal.
The ambience of the restaurant is decent, but any positives were quickly overshadowed by the poor service. Being relatively young, we were treated as if we were children. The waiters were condescending and dismissive, clearly making us feel unwelcome. It was obvious that they did not take us seriously, which was both insulting and frustrating. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in any establishment, let alone one that charges such high prices.
The overall experience left a bad taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. The combination of overpriced, subpar food and disrespectful service ensured that our evening was far from enjoyable. For a restaurant that prides itself on quality and service, Sai Krupa fell drastically short on both counts.
In summary, Sai Krupa is not worth your time or money. The food is lackluster, the prices are exorbitant, and the staff's attitude is downright rude. Save your money and go somewhere that values all its customers and provides a dining experience worth remembering. Avoid Sai Krupa if you want a pleasant and...
Read moreAs a former resident of Thane who lived in the city for 30 years (before moving out of the city), this restaurant was one of the places where you would always be assured of a good meal. Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Visited this place on 02-Aug-25 with my family for lunch. I must say, I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN !
My order :- 5 Tandoori Rotis 1 Plate Puri 1 Veg Kadhai 1 Veg Kolhapuri 1 Paneer Paratha
The Veg Kadhai & Veg Kolhapuri were absolutely AWFUL ! Shoddily cut vegetables served in a WATERY gravy. The only difference between both the dishes was that the Veg Kolhapuri contained atleast 500 gms of pepper powder. Both the dishes had No taste, Gravy had no consistency, No flavour.
The first four tandoori rotis were OKAY. The fifth one was thinner than a papad. Felt I was eating tandoori papad with Veg Pepper (they called Veg Kolhapuri).
Yes, but the restaurant was buzzing with customers. So maybe, the cook of the restaurant decided to mess with my food only. But I won't be returning to this restaurant ever again. The quality (in my experience) has deteriorated beyond a point that I would prefer to eat at a Poli Bhaji Kendra than at this restaurant.
P.S.:- Paid ₹380 for the God awful Veg Kadhai. A better use of my ₹380 would be to flush it down...
Read moreWastage of money. The Paneer gravy was way too sweet, as if I was eating a dessert with plain roti. One of the tortillas was served burnt. When questioned about the details of the dishes mentioned, they didn't clarify about the dishes as of what kind of dish it is. 2 of the supervisors started fighting in front of the visitors, creating a nuisance. Moreover, more than thrice I've to look for the waiters because none of them were present when I had to order something more. Only the papad was good, besides it everything only caused dissatisfaction. I asked about the difference between a cutlet around 150rs and a special cutlet around 250 rs, the waiter went to another and then didn't come with a reply. Later they said they don't know. Worst experience of a restaurant. Ordered a basic Dahi wada with an expectation that it is served with nylon sev and some other spices. They merely brought 2 vadas and sweetened yoghurt. Just plain. I never knew India has started lacking in spices for dishes that cost 3 times the normal cost. Advice: Rather go to the small outlets nearby. We resorted to it as a last option. Had plain mojito and felt good. Don't fall for the large place they have got, perhaps they have lost the quality of...
