Hotel Visava, A pure vegetarian restaurant with a lot of variety in its menu. It is located in Thane West, near the station, and it is a walkable distance of around 5–10 minutes. It is exactly opposite of Talao Pali Lake, which is one of Thane's most well-known landmarks. It has various cuisines for snacks, lunch, and dinner. You can try them out as well. We tried out the cheese pavbhaji, the normal pavbhaji bhaji, and a cup of tea at the end The food tasted good, and it had a good blend of flavours and spices in Bhaji, where the cheese made it taste more delicious. The chai was served hot and had a nice aroma to it, which made my mouth water. The ambience of the restaurant is well-maintained and good enough to sit in and have your food. It has natural open seating inside the restaurant. Service was nice, but staff interaction was a little less with us. It's a small restaurant and hygienic as well. As people look for normal meals while enjoying at Talao Pali lake, all vegans could come over to this place and spend their time here having casual dishes whenever passing by that area. I visited this restaurant on 9th August 2025 for dinner, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I was sitting in the AC dining area and even paid ₹30 extra compared to the normal dining area, only to receive this worst service. The service was extremely slow — water was served after about 20 minutes, the starter arrived after 25 minutes, and the main course took 35 minutes to be served. Even basic necessities like a spoon and fork were not provided until we had to ask.

When I expressed my concerns about the poor service to the lady at the cash counter, she refused to acknowledge any issue and showed no interest in improving the situation.

The good looking hotel near prime area of Thane city, but good looking only from outside. Zero hygiene, zero hospitality manner, owner doesn’t care about customer have zero manners.

We ordered simple veg grill sandwich as we were in bit hurry we wanted something for quick snack. But it took whopping 30mins serving that sandwich. Even after taking this much time restaurant want do their own experiment by adding unnecessary stuffing inside. When argued with owner he was like “Veg grill aise he bandta hai, you don’t know anything!!” And before finishing our food slam bill on our table.
