1/5 Stars - AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS
Overview My experience at Dilli da chaap was an unmitigated disaster. The food was abysmal, the staff was incompetent, and the management seemed nonexistent. It's astonishing that this establishment remains open for business.
Food - 1/5 The dishes I ordered were a culinary nightmare. Flavors were mismatched, presentation was lacking, and the overall quality was subpar. It was clear that the kitchen had no concept of taste or quality control. Some specific issues with the food included:
Cold food served hot Overcooked and underseasoned dishes Lack of freshness in ingredients
Service - 0/5 The staff seemed completely disinterested in providing any form of customer service. Orders were taken haphazardly, and requests were met with indifference. When I politely asked for improvements, I was met with hostility and disdain. Some notable service failures included:
Long wait times for food and drinks Orders taken incorrectly Staff ignored customer requests
Management - 0/5 There was a complete lack of leadership or oversight. It was clear that the management had abandoned ship, leaving the staff to fend for themselves. When I attempted to speak with a manager, I was brushed off and ignored.
Value - 1/5 Given the poor quality of food and service, the prices at this restaurant are outrageous. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.
Conclusion Unless significant changes are made, I would strongly advise against visiting Dilli da chaap,Thane. The risk of a disastrous dining experience is too high, and the potential consequences (food poisoning, ruined evenings) are not...
Read moreI recently visited Delhi Da Chaap on my friend's recommendation and here's what all I tried 😁👇
➡️ Mix Chaap (Afghani, Banjara, Punjabi) ➡️ Malai Chaap Roll ➡️ Chole Kulche ➡️ Pahadi Paneer Tikka
First of all, I started with mix Chaap, as there were three varieties and I could get to taste them all! 😁 Punjabi Chaap was the spiciest, so if you are a spice lover, you gotta taste this! Banjara was medium spicy Afghani was a little light on the spices
I liked the Punjabi Chaap, because the spice really got off on my tongue, and it was good to taste😃 .
Pahadi Paneer Tikka was my favorite! 😍 Huge cubes of grilled paneer along with grilled veggies and that pahadi green curry coating on it was heavenly! So this is a must try! 😁 .
Chole Kulche was also nice to taste! Although I felt the Kulcha could be a bit softer. .
Malai Chaap Roll, was basically Malai Chaap wrapped in Roomali Roti and it tasted quite good! 😃👍👍 . . All in all, this place is great for quick bites, it's got a non AC ambience and is situated right in front of Talaopali which makes for a very good location 😁👍 .
Definitely a...
Read moreYou get vegetarian Chaap here, mostly made of Soya. There's a lot of variety. You get Chaap Frankie also here. Apart from chaap, they have a proper restaurant menu, so if you have come to visit Talao Pali and want to have lunch or dinner before going back home, you can have your lunch here.
The food tastes very nice. We had ordered Pahadi Paneer Tikka and the taste was superb. The Paneer was very soft.
Although the service is bad. Initially instead of paneer, they served soya chaap, when we told them they replaced within a few minutes which is good, but then we asked for lemon almost thrice. The waiters used to say yes, but they never brought the lemon.
Ambience: There are few tables on the ground floor and a few more upstairs. The space is very short and feels congested. For going upstairs you need to mind your head. Upstairs the washbasin is also placed in such a way that we come in between waiters or they come in between us. Maybe on weekdays you may not find rush and your experience could...
