Cafe BunTea — Restaurant in Thane

One of the worst café experiences I’ve had in a long time. Despite the place being almost empty (we were literally the only customers), we had to wait over 30 minutes just for a plate of fries and one burger. To make things worse, half the items on the menu weren’t even available.

The staff seemed completely uninterested in actually running the café they were busy fighting among themselves, taking pictures, and completely ignoring us. Basic courtesy and professionalism were seriously lacking.

When I asked for a bill, I was casually told the machine wasn’t working. I manually calculated it later and realized they overcharged me , the actual amount was ₹355, but I was charged ₹452 with no explanation. Shocking!

Would definitely not recommend unless you enjoy long waits, unavailable food, unprofessional staff, and being overcharged...

The Adrakwali chai was very well made, but for a food and drink joint, the place is extremely filthy and unhygienic. It is filled with flies buzzing around. And you risk swallowing a fly even when you sip your tea. It has open seating space so very popular with smokers. The shop could atleast provide a small ash tray on every table as the smokers actually create a mess with cigrette butts and matchsticks strewn carelessly all around with no civic sense or basic courtesy to fellow non smoking customers. The staff is efficient in serving the tea ,but is absolutely tuned off to other matters of comfort and hygiene to customers.
