Amazing place to dine with family and friends. Very authentic veg food. Service was excellent.Lalit served us with proper care and suggestions on what will be good finds. We recently visited Prasad Veg Restaurant in Manpada to taste the food and finalize arrangements for a large family event. This advance visit was crucial and was very helpful for us, as it revealed serious reliability issues and unethical practices on advance booking. Earlier, we had spoken to the manager by phone to reserve for a group of 30-35 people, and he confirmed a rate of ₹1000 per person, recording this rate in their diary. However, when we arrived without initially mentioning our reservation, we asked if tables were available for the same date and were told it was fully booked. Shortly after, they returned to say they could “make an exception” for us—but at ₹1500 per person. It was clear they were trying to take advantage of the situation, completely disregarding their original commitment they have already given to prior customer breaching customer trust on management commitment.

When we clarified that we were the ones with the ₹1000 confirmed booking and showed them their own entry in the diary, the manager went inside, changed the diary rate earlier updated from ₹1000 to ₹1500, and claimed it was a “mistake” and that the rate was always ₹1500. This blatant attempt to deceive us showed an alarming lack of integrity

The management was dismissive when we questioned this and even suggested we look elsewhere if we didn’t agree to their new terms. Given how close our event date was, it would have been a disaster if we’d discovered this on the day itself, with no time to arrange alternatives.

Adding to this, the food was average. While it’s claimed vegetarian, that’s about the only positive thing I can say.

Overall, Prasad Restaurant is NOT a reliable choice for any important family event or large gathering where integrity and commitment matter. If they’re willing to change terms on a whim, it’s a risk you don’t want to take for a...

Date of visit - 01/06 I have never been harsh in any of my reviews posted earlier, but my visit to this fine dine, Prasad Food Divine (Manpada, Thane) was disastrous and disappointing!! First of all, while ordering, the gentleman taking our order was absolutely dazed and confused. When I ordered for a watermelon mojito (which he repeated later as 'watermelon mojito'), was actually 'watermelon juice!' Cheese corn tikki was okay but the Green chutney with it was bland! In the main course, Paneer Bhuna Masala had just no taste, it had no masala, even lacked salt! Malai Kofta was again, just okay. The assorted roti basket was a disaster! Cold and had no butter at all and they did not even ask if we need butter on them or not. They ended up becoming chewy and unappetising (costed 405/- btw). And lastly, the worst part, their staff were unprepared for Saturday rush. A server, without even asking before, took away mine and my mother's quarter plate, while were still having our food. He even forgot to give me a finger-bowl, which I had to remind them four times, before anyone cared! I even had to ask seven times before the cheque was brought to us, while their dazed-manager was only adamant that we should download their unnecessary app on our phone! Even if you lack cutlery and inventory, it is your headache, your staff should not snatch away plates and bowls before a customer has finished their meal. Being a brother of a Chef, I always respect and stay considerate for hard-working hospitality personnel, but at Prasad Food Divine - it was just too much to digest! Never visiting it again nor would recommend it to anyone.
