Chai villa is a cosy place near thane railway station serving chai and coffee at such reasonable rates with absolutely no compromise on quality and taste! 😊 . The place is run by Mr. Sawant and has such a great number of staff, around 6-7 people working as a team for bringing the best outcome possible and delivering chai and sandwiches to places and offices so that people can enjoy hot beverages with snacks!

The place is not any fancy shancy thing but I am sure your visit here would be far more valuable to the owner than any other place and you will surely enjoy what they have to offer!

We tried Cold coffee standard, very thick, nicely served topped with coffee liquid and some chocolate chunks this is all you need on a summer afternoon!

Chocolate and Ice-cream coffee this is my favourite thing there, and if there is anything I will repeatedly visit them for is this delicious serve! The coffee was thick, having great taste, covered completely with chocolate sauce, chocolate flakes and vanilla ice-cream giving it the perfection it needs!

Corn chilly cheese sandwich the generosity of cheese put inside and also on the outside compared to the price they are charging I mean there is nothing more worth than this! The taste was superb, fresh bread used with fresh ingredients!

Chocolate Sandwich this is pure love for me, fresh bread with maska and chocolate sauce grilled and then topped with chocolate sauce again and chocolate flakes because chocolate is never enough! Do try!

Kulhad chai my mother tasted this and said it was nice! It was very aromatic and there was a a well balance of sugar and milk The serving was good!

Lemon tea black go to this place and have this, I am 100% sure you will love it! There is just the right hint of lemon you will need to feel refreshed!

Chai Villa is an upgraded version of the local 'chai ki tapri'. You get a variety of teas and coffees as well as cold beverages and sandwiches! We ordered:

Special Chai- Hot tea with traces of ginger, that adds a good flavor. This was served in a clay cup.

Bournvita- The usual Bournvita served in a thermocol cup. This was extremely hot, I had to allow it sit for 20 minutes before taking the second sip.

Lemon Ice Tea- Lemon ice tea with hints of jalgira. A nice, refreshing drink.

Ice cream and chocolate cold coffee- cold coffee served in a tall glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate shavings. This was definitely the best drink, totally loved it!

Cheese corn sandwich- Cheese, corn & finely chopped veggies stuffed sandwich, toasted and covered with grated cheese. This sandwich was filling and tasted good.

Cheese Veggie Sandwich- Very similar to the Cheese corn sandwich, except that this one did not have corn. The rest of the ingredients were the same.

The outlet is really tiny which makes it cramped it. The hygiene level is not great too. Also, the crockery used is not sturdy and presentable at all (served tea in a chipped clay cup and hot bournvita served in thermocol cups, the cups literally became soggy!). The staff were having an argument in the midst of customers and there was no coordination among them. Except for the food, I didn't like anything about the place.

I visited this place today. It is very easy to find as it is very near to the station besides tiptop mithaiwala.

If you want to have quick snacks with tea, this is the place for you.

Here is what we tried:

Ice-cream & Chocolate cold coffee : Cold coffee with Ice-cream and chocolate on the top. Everything was put together so nicely.

Chocolate cold coffee: Now this one tasted very heavenly. Highly Recommended.

Mayonnaise toast sandwich: and when they say mayonnaise It is lot of mayonnaise which make the sandwich very tasty that you can't miss.

Tandoori Paneer Sandwich : Trust me it tasted amazing. Perfect crisp with perfect flavor. It was one of the best sandwich I have tasted.

Coming to teas, they have a lot of varieties in tea.

we tried Gud ki chai which is very unique and healthy, served in kulhad tasted the best.

Also we found out this amazing option they have to customize your tea, so We customized it to have Pudina and Elaichi which again turned out to be very strong and tasty same as we wanted.

Also would like to mention that they also serve Pohe at minimal price of 20/- if you are fan of traditional breakfast chai and pohe like me !

Now big plus of this place is everything is on budget. Tea will cost you 10-20rs Coffee 30-50 and sandwiches also ranges between 40-70rs. It will not harm your pocket but this doesn't compromises with the quality. Owner and the staff is very friendly and humble.
