When did i recently had delicious vegetarian food? Ahemm.. Nah, i dont remember until and unless i visited this super duper amazing place which is up in Thane known as "The Food Town". Just located near harinivas circle and near naupada police station. The ambience itself is eye catchy, and it just pulls the audience to come and have food. Just way too good. Ambience is way too amazing with beautiful lights set up and everything so well organised. I really loved the way everything was organised. Seats are quite comfortable and hence people do get friendly with the atmosphere the next second. Now what should i tell you about the food, OMG the food is delicious, ive had a lot of things but not even a single dish left me dissapointing. I just loved the food and its very rare of me, that i like any vegetarian food but the food town has won my hearts in many ways. So here are the list of things that i've had
Mocktails:
Starters:
Mains:
Desserts:
🍹 Bubble Gum Mocktail: It was just an exact taste of pure bubble gum. You ll feel as if you are literally eating a bubble gum. A very unique mockail, and nicely presented.
🍹Jamun Shots Jamun shots, this is something i never had before. It was served in a shot glass and the glass was nicely placed in a tray of 6 glasses. So basically you'll be served with 6 of these shot glasses which will be of a pure Jamun drink topped with salt, which gives us the actual feeling of Jamun. A much recommended i would say. A nice way of presenting
🥘 Cheese Cigar: Yet again, it was very nicely served in a glass of 6 the cigar rolls were dumped in a glass dipped with red sauce and cheese over it. The rolls were filled with cheese and it was completely cheesy. Just loved it. Too good.
🥘 Kurkure Tikki: Crumbs of sev filled with a sabzi filling, crunchy and tasty.
🥘 Paneer Hill Top: Hot pieces of paneer nicely blended in a spicy masala and served along chutney and salad. Loved the taste. Love the food
Mains: You choose anything from the menu, it wont dissapoinnt you. I loved the subzi's that i have ordered and the amount of quantity was also way too good.
🍨 3 Scoop Icecream: You may choose your three scoop of icecream out of the 4 given choices (Strawberry, Butterscotch, Vanilla and Chocolate)
🍓 Strawberry Cream: This was heaven, a complete dessert. Being a strawberry lover i decided to have this and it bowled me over. The glass filled with strawberry cream and strawberry cut pieces. A complete drooling dessert. You have a hell lot of options to choose from their menu. They have variety of stuffs from which you can order your favourite dish. The service was too quick and the staffs are way helpful and cooperative. All and all i just loved my overall experience here at the food town and im damn sure that none of their dish or dessert or mocktails or appetizers would dissapoint you in any way. Love love and only love to the food town and their entire team.
A highly recommended to all the food lovers, you will fall in love with this place.
Note: Its a total pure veg restaurant, but definately worth a go. Thumbs Up 👍🏻
Lots of Love Anupam ❤

Read moreAfter reading a lot of positive comments on The Food Town restaurant which is located across many locations, decided to dine in at their Thane outlet in Naupada. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant with an extensive 18 page menu which is a dream for veg foodies with varieties aplenty in each sections like Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Indian and what not! Pretty impressed.
Thane outlet is a 2 storey restaurant, particularly loved the top section, the interiors are cute and done very well with all flowers and wall arts. Staff were helpful and welcoming particularly Niraj & Sonu. Tried Blue Heaven and Delight Punch in mocktails first up. Both looked pretty and instagrammable. Blue Heaven was bit on sweeter side, Delight Punch was perfection.
In starters tried their Paneer Sholay Kebab which were made spicy on special request. Again dish looked pretty as picture. Paneer was soo soft that it melted in mouth. Marination on the paneer and charr on it was the star of the dish. Mayo salad and green chutney served alongside were perfect complement to the paneer! Must try.
Later, tried Cheese Cigars and Pink Tango Pasta. Cheese Cigars were served in 6 shots glass with chilli schezwan sauce at bottom and fried cheese cigars served on top of it. Loved the presentation. This dish is a try for cheese lovers, it's rich in taste and filled with goodness. Pink Tango Pasta came in Penne mixed with veggies like Brocolli, Carrots etc. Sauce was amazing and cheesy. Pasta was cooked well and entire dish was a treat.
Also tried their Chilli Garlic Fried Rice which literally lived up to its name, it was spicy! Tasted similar to schezwan rice but the garlic touch adds different dimension. Must try for spice lovers. For desserts, tried their Nutella Waffles which came in 2 pieces. Nutella, dark and white chocolate was drizzled on top. Lovedddd it.
Overall my first experience at Food Town has been excellent. Never thought i would enjoy veg food soo much. Looking forward to try their other outlets...
Read moreThe Food town, a two storey restro situated in Thane. This place is a km away from Thane railway station, easy to find. As you enter inside the outlet, you will get a wonderful vibe because of the music, dim lights and the beautiful ambiance. It's a pure veg restaurant, you will get a variety of vegetarian food here. Mexican, Italian, Continental, Thai and north Indian, they have almost every cuisine here, you ask for it and they have it. A special mention to their staff, very friendly and have a very good knowledge about the whole menu, they will guide you to have the best food of theirs according to your taste. Speaking about the food and drinks I tried :
CINDRELLA : A thick drink, basically a mixture of kiwi, litchi and apple. I enjoyed every sip of it. Must try.
URBAN FERRY : Very refreshing, this will surely quench your thrust. A mixture of khus, litchi, lemon and mint. Highly recommended!
PANEER MALAI TIKKA : Hands down, this is by far the best paneer malai tikka I have had. I was amazed by seeing the freshness and softness of the paneer. It tasted really good. Again, a highly recommended dish
Banjara Seekh Kebab: I have tried this for the first time and it tasted really good. A bit of coriander flavoured taste. This was served along with pudina and mint chutney.
Ravioli Pasta in Pink Sauce : Ravioli dough was filled with cheese, spinach and corn. It was dipped in the pink sauce. Tasted really good. Must try.
Paneer Lababdar: It was a medium spicy orange gravy with perfectly soft and cooked paneer inside. This will best go with Cheese Garlic Naan or Butter Kulcha. A must try dish if you are here.
Mango Mastani : This is a shake from their special mango menu. A thick milkshake topped with Icecream, pieces of mangoes and loads of dryfruits. I enjoyed every sip of it. We ended our meal on a sweet note.
Overall, I had an amazing experience here, I will highly recommend to everyone to visit this place if...
