Our hotel recommended this place. The food was good, though it's definitely catered towards tourists. We asked for our food to be spicy but it wasn't at all spicy. Besides that everything was good. The food was tasty and service great. Our waiter was so nice and spent a while answering our questions and telling us about the history of the Maharajas and the heritage hotel next door. Halfway through our meal, we heard loud music outside which turned out to be a wedding. My friend really wanted to check it out so we rushed outside with our purses but we left a few things behind. We didn't expect to stay out for long but the people celebrating were so welcoming and they kept wanting to dance with us, and the procession went along the streets of Jaisalmer. By the time we left the restaurant had closed so we planned to come back the next day to pay. I just so happened to tell the waiter which hotel we were at. When we finally got back to the hotel, the restaurant called the hotel to report left behind items. We told them we'd come back the next day to get our stuff and pay. But they came to the hotel anyway late at night to give us back our stuff and we paid them. Hopefully someone from the restaurant reads this, and our waiter knows we really appreciate everything. We were the girls who ran away, and we're sorry we didn't mean to...

Worst service possible. Prime example of bad management. Beras here are Behras and bit rude! They are busy in having their own standing conference and jokes. All you can do is wave at them. They will come to you when they feel like walking. The covered seating portion is total mess. Suffocating and dull lighted. To add to mess further, they have put live music. Nobody notices these Poor folks, such wonderfully and strategically they have been placed on the floor amidst Table and Chair seating. Don't want to describe it such an aweful experience. Food is kinda ok. Rice served is of inferior quality. They are not upkeeping this place so it might degrade further if not taken care of now. From the seats in the open space, you can breathe fresh air and view beautiful Mandir Palace and Badal Mahal. (Photos attached along are clicked from nearby Trio entrance, and are not from the...

A friend of ours recommended that we have dinner at The Trio. We went after the 1st night of the Desert Festival. We arrived about 6:30pm so there was no one else at the rooftop and we were able to choose our seats, which was wonderful. The view from this restaurant is stunning, especially at sunset!

We ordered the Tahil and one beer to share. The food was good and plentiful. The beer was cold. The waiter also brought us hot tea. Later we were charged for this tea that we never ordered @250 rupees. We feel like this was just slipped in like we weren't going to notice the charge. Thankfully, after much insistence the waiter apologized and said he would take of the bill. This is the only reason that we are giving this review 4 stars.

Overall, the view was incredible, the food was good (a little over priced but its about the location, location always...

I ordered Saag waala Mutton as it was mentioned by many reviews of the restaurant. I had Laal Maas as next dish ready to order. To my surprise, mutton was not properly cooked. It felt like eating rubber.. I asked the server to ask the chef to recook it properly which later on they did. Due to the food, I puked in the restaurant's washroom. As my health deteoriated, I asked the server to pack the food. I wanted to give the feedback to the Manager so I asked to speak to one. Manager was not ready to listen or even interested in the complaint of the customer. This much I can say, Food can go wrong, but what you do to fix it, matters. Unfortunately, you can't expect this everywhere. I would never spend my hard earned money here not ask my friends or relatives to do the same. BILL ATTACHED Thank you.
