I recently visited the Gandhipuram, Coimbatore branch of Adyar Anandabhavan, expecting the usual high standards and authentic taste. However, the experience was far from satisfactory and raised several concerns about hygiene and quality.

Firstly, the hygiene levels at this branch were alarming. Flies swarmed around the sweets on display, with no apparent measures taken to protect food from contamination. This is not just unpleasant but poses a significant health risk, especially as these items are directly served to customers.

Additionally, I noticed used tumblers being left in the middle of tables, seemingly to be reused without any cleaning—a practice that falls well below basic sanitation standards. This lack of cleanliness, especially for a reputed chain, is disappointing.

The quality of sweets, unfortunately, has also noticeably declined. The Rasmalai, once a delight, now has an overly watery 'Ras,' which fails to deliver any authentic taste and is overloaded with sugar. This change in quality is concerning, particularly from a brand that was once synonymous with consistent taste and quality.

The worst A2B I have ever visited. We visited at 7.30 for dinner and we got a table. We were made to wait for 25 minutes even though we approached 3 servers to take the order and finally went to the bill counter and asked them should I wait or leave and then they took the order. They provided water which was worse than a roadside shop. Adding the pic. Idly was served within 5 minutes but for fried rice and Parota they took another 45 minutes from then. There were so many customers like me waiting and few were arguing with the servers why not taking the order and delay in providing food and how Zomato orders are delivered in less than 10 mins as we were able to see the delivery people come and leave the restaurant so quickly. I myself saw almost 10 people waiting and arguing with them. Such a horrible experience. Finally to pay the bill they made me wait and I immediately went and told I will not wait more than 1 minute from now and will leave the place without paying if I am not provided the bill and I got the payment done immediately.
