Nice place to go as a family. Always delivers the taste of biriyani.

The taste of biriyani is the right combo among the Meat, Rice, Spice and Everything Nice. And KMS delivers just that.

They don't over complicate things by doing Varieties in biriyani and spoil the taste. Just Biriyani that's straight forward and hits the nostalgic senses of the eater.

I recommend the KMS HAKKIM CHICKEN 🍗 which is a made to order. The mix between Schezwan and Pepper and Manchurian Gravy with a Chicken leg is just so cool. It took me to my childhood days of eating and Madras Dominos night street food.

But order KMS HAKKIM CHICKEN as the first thing as soon as you enter. And then after 15 to 20mins they give you the dish. Then order your biriyani so that you can enjoy both at the same time.

Downs:

The place is too dark for a bright ambiance and one cannot take cool pics of the the food. Need flash and it just blows up the entire plate white.

Need to turn down the TV volume/scrap the TV entirely and play some light music or just nothing.

Don't keep your Mobiles connected with the bluetooth speakers of the restaurant, everytime it rings it is annoying.

Seating can be much more closer to the table so we can eat relaxed and not sit on the edge of the seats. (I'm 6ft and I found it difficult to reach my food sitting halfway back on the sofa.)

This happened in Subramaniapuram branch near velavan hospital.

I have checked for availability of nattu kozhi biryani and they said available. So, I ordered 2 nattu kozhi biryani and one mutton biryani for take away.

To my surprise, when I opened nattu kozhi biryani, they have kept kuska and nattu kozhi masala along with very few bone pieces in it. I don’t expect this.

Generally, if you ask for biryani it’s meat cooked with rice, that’s the fair expectation from customer. If you are serving chicken masala instead of regular biryani, you are supposed to inform the customer while billing and explain them that it will only have chicken gravy and not actually chicken pieces cooked with rice. Then, I would have changed my order to something else. I felt, this is not ethical to sell biriyani, but keeping nattu kozhi masala inside it. I felt cheated.

Going forward, please inform your customer about this and let them know before they are ordering it. Personally, I won’t prefer this...

On 27th of March, I had only breakfast and was very hungry went to this restaurant at 6:25 pm and Ordered Mutton biriyani but it was served with burnt rice. Requested for replacement for the first time, then again they severed with same for the second time and then again reported to them they replaced it for third time again the same burnt rice issue. I just came out without eating very pathetic service and biriyani from a such a reputed restaurant. Very bad, I came out with huge disappointment and hunger.

Writing the below on 03/29: Please address the issue and even after two days of the incident I couldn’t come out of it it’s keep on ringing inside my head. This shows how much the incident has affected me mentally. It’s very sad to see no response from management even after reporting, this shows how much care they take on customer satisfaction. Very bad.
