The two stars are for the quality of stuff that they offer and the three stars deducted are for their sub-par customer service and astronomical rates for most sweet and savory products. Such rates are unacceptable for a place like Trichy.
They don't even ask the customer what he/she wants; have seen this on most of my visits there.
Early this morning, I asked the sole person at the counter to make 4 bags, each with one item of A, B and C, the person shoves everything into one bag, gives 4 bags and asks me to pack it myself. There was no other customer at the store and the person should have packed it the way I asked for, but didn't. That's their definition of customer service.
After buying stuff worth Rs.1000 plus, I requested the cashier for change for 100 bucks and he said he didn't have change while I saw two 10 rupee bundles inside his cash register. When these people will stop being narrow minded, only God can foretell.

The sweet was supposed to be pre-sliced, but to my surprise, it was not cut at all. It seems that the person who packed the cake completely missed the step of cutting it, and no one at the bakery noticed this mistake.
This oversight is unacceptable. How can we enjoy the sweet when it's not even cut? It created a significant inconvenience during our event, as we had to scramble to find a suitable knife to cut the cake ourselves.
