CIBO Fine Dining — Restaurant in Tiruchirappalli

I was planning to visit this place ….got opportunity today …

as our group received few positive reviews , i took those contents as guidance ..

very nice locality … very good set up …. at Fort station road , East , ( almost on Sasthri Road side ) ..

initially ordered the starter and few stuff ..

the starter , my selection was "" panko fried panneer strips with devil dips""... unique name … it was our group member's selection …. It was really brilliant … But i don't understand what so Devil in it …😀👍 … Rs 240 plus taxes …

then went for "" Stuffed Cottage cheese Steak with red sauce """ .It was recommend by the waiter/ manager … Honestly it was truly unique … tasted brilliant … sort of Cheese masala gravy ,, with cheese loaded sandwiches and little bit of rice … it was true killer experience ….( telling killer in positive tone 😂👍) …. Rs 340 plus taxes .. can somebody inform me , what classification of stuff is this ..( what cuisine 🤔) …

then we went for the Veg Lasagne … again i say , i was recommended by our group member earlier …. it was unique and good ….i did not know how to take it / eat it …waiter helped me cutting in to pieces and served us … pl see the video …😀👍 … overall it was good and unique … Rs 350 plus taxes …

then we went for Veg butter double corn fried rice ….unfortunately it was only above average …Rs 200 plus taxes …

then one aloo Paratha …it was Rs 80 plus taxes … i did not taste it …i was informed , it was good there ….

overall Rs 1331 ...paid by credit card ....( thinking of converting to EMI 😀) ....👍

we were there around 2 pm …. i was informed , the restaurant operated from 12 noon to early morning 3 am , on next day …

i am really amazed how they manage to run , for this much stretched out timings …

truly truly unique restaurant , offering brilliant stuff … i think they all taste authentic …

inspite of the fact , high pricing for place like Trichy , i can see huge number of diners turning up , at around 0230 pm ….

so people , support the places ,in spite of high pricing , if they think , the stuff there is good …

i was informed , after their Namakkal , Chennai branches , they have started here in Trichy and Tiruppur …

i think I can not afford visiting here frequently …may be once in a year ...

One of the worst hospitality we ever been through. No one cares when a customer enters the restaurant. We need to hunt for the waiter to get seated. Order was not taken for first 15 minutes until we requested.

We ordered a drink and two other starters. Only one dish was served after some 15 minutes and then we were informed that the other one was not available and drinks not served too.Water and cutleries were provided finally after we received the food! We never been asked for a choice of regular water or water bottle. Waiter provided us a water bottle on his own and opened the lid without our concern.

We ordered a pizza for the main course and requested for toppings. It was not provided until we are done with the pizza. We again requested for the drink which was not served still.

Then we ordered a grilled fish. We also asked for some napkins. It was not provided till we were done with our dinner. We reminded for napkins again. After two gentle reminders napkin was provided but surprisingly to the next table and not to us.

Drink was not provided until we decided to close the bill. We again reminded for it one last time. Waiter finally said that it was not available after 1 hour 20 minutes approx with a smile. Wow!!!!

Do they even understand what a customer demands for? All they know is to deliver the food to the table.

Taste was ok-ok. All the dishes were too tangy. Can be better. I expected the same what we get from the other Cibo in Chennai.

I kindly request the management to change the entire staff crew and to place a mosquito/fly catcher machine, else the outlet will be on a toss!

Right now, a supergood restaurant in trichy with so many options. The service was prompt. The waiting time for each course was not more than 10 minutes. Family Friendly. All the items in the Menu were available at 1 AM - I suppose, this is the only restaurant in trichy to go out at night with fam or friends. Open until 3AM in the morning. Ambience was top notch. The Price is reasonable at this point in time.

Coming to the taste, Cream of mushroom soup was really rich - The Sweet corn Chicken soup was as expected. Dragon Chicken was perfect, one of the bests which we had in recent time. Tasted Cocktail Chicken Strips for the first time, and was good but nothing out of the world. Prawns Olivetti - the flavours were right but the prawn was a little overcooked and that made it rubbery. This is not the kind of place where we get authentic south Indian Biriyani - but we tried it and it was not too bad also not the best. The Thai Chicken red curry tasted authentic.

Finally, the molten chocolate Lava with ice-cream which came as a compliment for a birthday was too good.

Update 1: Went there for the 3rd time on March, 2024 - the service didn’t live upto what I have experienced earlier and the waiting time was almost over 20-30 minutes this time. Also, the tables were...
