DiMoRa — Restaurant in Tiruchirappalli

Checked with Google for best food in Trichy as I'm traveling from Chennai. Very much annoyed to go 4th floor in this town and worried something wrong with the rating. So we decided to go back while in the lift. One reached we just peeped and felt interesting to enter and then wished to see the menu aswell. The interiors were awesome and never expected in the 4th floor. That made us happy that Google was right and we were wrong. They had the best view of rockfort from the corner private cabin. We were lucky to get the cabin as we were early. Mr Manohar Manager helped us to settle down explained the menu for beverage and their newly introduced menu and the chef special. Order taker took the order asking first for any allergies we had. For the past 15 years I'm8 traveling all over India and abroad. But never heard of wait staff checking allergies for nut shell fish and other...kudos team dimora. Next when the food arrived by course from soup which was new taste to me. But my friends liked. Then came the food sampler platter with calamari chicken prawn fish finger tandoori chicken and that was huge with 4 types of dips. That was truly a delight and I missed my single malt with that. We tried their bay prawns fish fingers and prawn oasis. We all loved food freshness amazing taste and very well presented with garnish and dips. We never ordered main course as we're fully bellied up. Desserts were awesome. Their home made sizler brownies cake upside down and apple pie. It's hard to find these items in good restaurants in Chennai. Over all their ambience food taste presentation food service and their hospitality were top notch. Congrats you guys. 2 things were really interesting. 10 years in 4th floor and it's not a franchise. It's Trichy brand group of restaurants.

The place is good--I went there the very week it opened and the chef had come to my table to ask regarding how the food was. Food is great and ambience is too. Pricing is bit higher to other restaurants but that’s not a problem. The bigger issue is the home delivery service. Have ordered several times here and they come late every single time.

Today I got the food after 2 hours 15 mins which is a new record. Last time was 1 and half hour. On top of that the watermelon juice was spilled. I called the restaurant and I was told that it’s because it’s a new delivery address. I told I’ve ordered several times and she corrected and said that the delivery boy is new. I'm sure he’s the same guy who came the last time. When I asked the delivery guy he said there was a party order--if that was the case they could have just told that home delivery is unavailable and saved me the wait. I did get a reduction of price for the spilt drink but I am very disappointed with the service. For a restaurant that charges more than other restaurants and aspires to keep high standards this is a big minus. I really hope the delivery service improves or the prices drop to compensate for the pathetic service. Otherwise this is a classy place to have...

We did not go for buffet. We had veg clear soup, veg pizza and brownie with ice cream. Words fail me when I start to describe the absolutely wonderful items served to us. The soup was thick, not watery, the vegetables were nicely cooked and the taste was awesome. I wished we had ordered a full bowl. Next the grand surprise. The pizza!!! It looked beautiful, the taste was perfect. I must say I never had such a wonderful wood fried thin crust anywhere in Tamil Nadu. Maybe it was the oregano, but something made it different which made stand out. The grand finale was the sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream. The brownie was fresh to the "h". With the hot chocolate liquid on top and ice cream to compliment, we had reached 7th heaven. Forget the biryani people, attack the pizza. Thanks to the chef and staff for the wonderful experience.
