Changing my review from 5 star to 1 star. They completely ruined our family new year lunch. 2 yrs back we went to this restaurant and you can read my review on below. So with lot of build up I took my full family(last time it was me, wife, and kid). First thing it's no more dhaba, it's just like other normal restaurant, just for name it has bhaba. So don't imagine dhaba kind food. Very basic thing in dhaba was curd rice and lassi but here except water nothing you will get as soft drink. After seeing menu card decided to go with Biriyani, OMG the worst biriyani I ever had in my life. Believe me first time in my life history, I left half biriyani without eating. I don't want to describe other items, because all were below average. So it was so much embarrassing for me in front of my family, even though they didn't comment anything bad but I spoiled their new year also. Last time I was so much impressed with their animal zone and park, now those things also not maintained properly, all places were smelling badly. My suggestion please don't go here, you have n number of best restaurants are there.
Had a great time here. Not only with the food, their ambiance was really good. If you fed up of closed A/C rooms restaurant, then you can try this restaurant. They had kids play zones, so after you place your order, you can go and play with your kid. They love it. They had small animals park itself.(Rabit, Dove, Fish, Cat). You can feed the doves, by going inside the cage and it will come and sit on you. It was such a different feel. Coming back to food, they serve both non veg and veg. 7 out 10 for food taste. Platters available, so if you go with big gang you can try this. Rate was bit costly, but for the facility what they gave is good so you can...
Read moreWe visited on a Sunday. It's very obvious that ECR is the most thronged place on weekends so wait time is very common but the fact is a group of youngsters who had finished dining in and also having swiped their card refused to vacate the tables. With 3 kids in the age group of 7, a senior citizen and the time nearing 3 pm, we were waiting for the youngsters who were in their mid 20s to vacate the table but to our dismay we could secure a table after 20 minutes of time only with the interference of common public who started to question those youngsters who were simply faffing around. The reason I mention this incident is that we requested the wait staff manager to talk to those youngsters to vacate their seats so that others might get a chance but wait staff never heeded to our request. Management must make it a policy that during weekends and on public holidays it must ensure that guests who have finished their dining must pave way for others who are in the queue to dine.
We bought 4 kulfi ice cream for adults and 4 choco bar scoop for the children. All the 3 children and one adult who consumed chocolate ice cream suffered from sore throat and mild cold for...
Read moreLocated in a prime spot, ECR Dhaba offers a delightful dining experience amidst a good atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for families with kids. This being my second visit, I can confidently say it's one of the best recommendations for family outings. The children's play area, complete with slides, swings, and a pigeon feeding zone, adds to the charm. Plus, the chance to interact with hens and rabbits enhances the kids' experience.
Situated alongside Chettinad restaurant, ECR Dhaba stands out for its delectable cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the chicken lollipops, served with five succulent pop sticks, and the indulgent pot Kulfi. While falooda wasn't available during my visit, other menu items like garlic naan, butter naan, and Punjabi vegetable gravy didn't disappoint. Pairing these dishes with naan or tandoori roti resulted in a delightful meal.
The fair prices and overall ambiance make ECR Dhaba a must-visit for families seeking a peaceful dining experience. Whether it's a leisurely lunch or a cozy dinner, this restaurant promises a memorable...
