Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Red Box, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Here's a breakdown of my review:
Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The restaurant has a charming and cozy atmosphere, with dim lighting and tasteful decor. It creates a pleasant and intimate setting, perfect for a romantic dinner or a casual gathering with friends.
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The staff members were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. They were prompt in taking our orders and ensured that we had everything we needed. However, there were a couple of instances where it took slightly longer for our drinks to arrive, which slightly affected the overall experience.
Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Red Box offers an impressive menu with a variety of options to choose from. I found the quality of the food to be excellent, with flavorful dishes that were well-presented. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced. The portion sizes were reasonable, and I left feeling satisfied. However, there were a few minor issues with the temperature of one of the dishes, which could have been improved.
Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices at The Red Box are quite reasonable. It's not a budget-friendly restaurant, but the value for money is definitely there.
Improvements: While my experience at The Red Box was enjoyable, there are a couple of areas where they could improve. Firstly, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of drinks would enhance the overall service. Secondly, paying closer attention to the temperature of the dishes would elevate the dining experience even further.
In conclusion, The Red Box is a lovely restaurant with a cozy ambiance, attentive service, and delicious food. It's definitely worth a visit, but there is room for improvement in terms of drink delivery and dish temperature. I would recommend it for an enjoyable dining experience and will likely return...
Read moreAbsolutely pathetic food and this is no way close to chinese food. I regret my decision to buy food from here. I had ordered for burnt veg garlic fried rice and when I opened the parcel it was plain sauteed rice with some chunks of uncooked vegetables. No signs of garlic anywhere. Dragon paneer was just some hard pieces of paneer in some sauce.
I have never had such bad fried rice ever in my life. Even smaller food joints make better fried rice. Its a no brainer to use some smaller vegetable pieces to make this fried rice. Pictures will speak for it.
Secondly this place is not economical as well. Its highly priced as equal to some mainland china or other places. I wouldn't be minding the price had the food been good.
I am disappointed with my sunday dinner being spoilt. If you are looking for some good chinese food as an option please don't go here. Am sure you will...
Read moreThe food was really pathetic... I'm surprised to see the overly rated reviews. We had spent 1400/- for 3, ordering more as we were informed that one dish might come for 2 if consumed less. So we ordered 3 dishes after the soup and starters. The soup and starters were just ok. The main course was not even consumable. I saw a genuine review stating that if all you want as food is something in colours like red, green, or white, then go for this restaurant - true to the core. You can make much better Chinese dishes at home, even without a recipe. It is damn sure they don't have a genuine trained chef. It was our daughter's birthday and we had a guest too with us. We really felt ashamed of inviting him. The place is clean, accessible and calm. The staff is good. But the main objective of a restaurant is the food it serves. I would give a zero...
