New Rengabhavan Veg — Restaurant in Trichy Corporation Limits

Had Idli, Medu Vadai and Pongal. Ended with filter coffee. Very tasty. Sambar and two types of chutneys to go with were placed on the table. One could take how much ever was required. Quick service. One issue was the rusted manhole covers in front of the restaurant where someone could fall and seriously hurt themselves if the plate collapsed. When I was there yesterday morning, 30 December 2024, I personally informed the owner the need to urgently repair it from a safety point of customers. He heard me but didn't show much earnestness to assure that it will be attended to expeditiously. Hence posting this as part of the review. We were here for breakfast on a Monday morning at around 8am. The place looked busy , but we were able to find tables. Their menu is very simple with traditional Tamil Nadu breakfast items. I had Pongal and Vada. It tasted good and there were about 3 varities id chutney and sambar. Their Idli was also fine and reasonable. I also tried their Kal Dosai, I was not very happy with it personally compared to their idli and pongal. So if you are around here for breakfast then better go eith their pongal, idli and vada. Amazing food, parked car opposite and ate peacefully a lot. Food was delicious and the bill was super low.
