Hotel Temple IN — Hotel in Trichy Corporation Limits

We visited this temple on the 18th of this month based on the reference given by one of our neighbors. The visit proved to be a great experience of joy and peace. ||The presiding deity in this temple is Lord Vishnu, with the shrine name "Pundareekakshan". The deity is imposing and looks majestic. The deity was decorated specially due to the ongoing of auspicious month 'Margazhi' in Tamil. The dressing and decorations were appealing with its grandeur. This is one part. || ||Now ,comes the other part. When we set out to go around the temple, we were startled by the huge and sprawling space inside the temple. Going through a broad corridors of huge pillars, build about 400 years ago, we reached the backyard. It was totally different from the temple atmosphere. There is one huge banyan tree with its giant roots and stems spread all over. A few children were playing under the tree by catching hold of its roots and swaying from one end to another. The deposit of sands under the tree acts as protective layer to these children when they let loose their grips over the roots, they are holding for swaying here and there. ||Close to the banyan tree, a massive hillock is there. It is slippery to climb. But with due care and balance, One can crawl on it and climb certain heights. To descend one has to be careful as well so as to avoid a fall. I did the same. Hotel Temple In Restaurant, Trichy. Very worst customer service. No body bothered about customers. Even after complaining to the Manager, no relief. The person in the cash counter also didn't bother about anything. After eating Idiaappam, when we ordered for Idly, the server didn't give Idly in a separate plate. He asked to eat in the same plate where sugared coconut milk was there. He also told no separate plate will be given for Idly. For billing also, he took 15 minutes.

If the attitude of the people working in the restaurant is not changed, then, the owner may have to close the restaurant very soon.

Located very close to Thiruvanaikovil temple. It is a lodge with attached restaurant. The menu was very sparse when we visited mid-morning. We ended up having fruit juices as a compromise to order something. Their service is very leisurely, which suits the room service clientele? Dosai and coffee was being served fast, but juices took their own sweet time - and very so so. This badly ate into our schedule, which was unfortunate.

The location of their toilets, outside the restaurant, next to their genset, accessed via their parking ramp, 🤷🏼‍♂️🙆🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ caused quite the consternation for many a guest (in/outside our travelling party). Eh, you can do better than that, people!
