Last night’s dinner at this restaurant with my brother turned out to be one of the most horrifying and humiliating moments of my life. I had ordered Paneer Rosha, Rice, Dal, Beguni, fish fry. As soon as I took the first bite of paneer rosha, I felt something hard and strange between my teeth. Alarmed and confused, I spat it out—only to discover a piece of steel wool, the kind used to scrub utensils. My soul shuddered at the thought: what if this had gotten stuck in a child’s throat? A single moment of negligence could cost someone their life—forget about food quality at that point.
When I gathered the courage to call the owner and showed him the steel wool, instead of apologizing, he had the audacity to lecture me: “You should be more careful while eating.” I was stunned—should I be angry or should I cry? How can anyone expect such shameful negligence and rudeness from a place that serves food to customers? If there’s no remorse for such a serious mistake, who knows what other careless practices go on behind the scenes?
The food itself was tasteless, stale, and of the lowest quality. Just two bites in, I started feeling uneasy. Overall, it felt like this establishment cares neither about hygiene, nor quality, nor the dignity of its customers. Last night taught me a hard lesson: never trust fancy names or blindly follow online reviews. Always do thorough research before trying a new place.
My sincere advice to everyone: for the safety of yourself and your family, stay far away from such careless, insensitive, and potentially life-threatening restaurants. Cleanliness, quality, and customer respect mean absolutely nothing here. I urge everyone not to visit this place so that others don’t suffer the way I did.
I will file a complaint with FSSAI as soon as possible, so that strict action can be taken against such degraded businesses. Everyone should stay alert and cautious—a small mistake can lead to...
Read moreBefore being there my perception about this restaurant was way to exciting and I was really curious to go there but after having my first lunch there I'm afraid to say but I was really disappointed with this restaurant my whole perception turns out to be a fiasco, to be specific once I went with my friend telling him that this is probably the best bengali family restaurant in Agartala City so far, But after receiving the menu card from a retard mule our urge towards having a meal almost went screwed, he barely knows how to behave with the fellow customers, after deciding and selecting what to order we called him, he jotted down our orders and after a hideous delay of 48 minutes thank God we god only one item among five items, after a couple of minutes gradually we are getting the rest of the items, after that we started with rice yeah it was pretty good with dal which doesn't have any teaste after that Paneer masala comes which after having feels like we are eating fresh uncooked. At the last if you order any food items there quality is not up to the mark but is really expensive, But along with expensive food items you'll barely find any good...
Read moreIf you’re craving authentic Bengali non-veg cuisine, look no further than [Hotel Name]! This place is an absolute gem for anyone who loves rich, flavorful, home-style Bengali food served with genuine hospitality.
I visited with my family last weekend and we were blown away by the variety and taste. We ordered their classic Ilish Bhapa, Mutton Kosha, and Pabda Macher Jhal — each dish was perfectly cooked with just the right balance of spices. The fish was fresh and melted in the mouth, and the mutton was so tender it fell off the bone.
What really stood out was the warm, homely vibe of the place. The staff were friendly, attentive, and more than happy to explain each dish. The ambience is simple but clean and comfortable, letting the food take center stage.
If you’re a true foodie, don’t miss their Basanti Pulao and Chingri Malai Curry — they’re a must-try! Portions are generous and prices are reasonable too, which makes this hotel great value for money.
I highly recommend [Hotel Name] to anyone who wants to experience authentic Bengali non-veg delicacies just like they’re made at home. I’ll definitely...
