Just yesterday, I went to the sherowali restaurant, located in Shankar chowmuhani Agartala, with my family. We had come from my 2 year old daughterâs Independence Day program. Since the program was early, my little toddler had food very early and she was very hungry. So we thought that we will have some breakfast there and also feed our daughter. Since she was a 2 year old, we preferred only home cooked food for her.
When we were about to feed her, we were interrupted very rudely by some worker there claiming we canât bring outside food there. We simply requested that the two year old canât eat the food here since she is very young to eat this. To this the receptionist very rudely said he doesnât care about that, either the food from the restaurant or we have to leave. It was very insulting at the same time his gestures towards us especially the way he addressed my wife was very inappropriate.
This is very disgusting behaviour from them, and I regret having walked there to have food. Sometimes professionalism trancends humanity , for him the rule was more important than my toddler...
Read moreThe Sherowali group needs no introduction in Tripura. They run a couple of food outlets (veg, non-veg, fast food, sweets etc.) in the city. Their latest venture is the new restaurant-cum-cafe that was inaugurated at Shankar Chowmuhani early this month. I went there with a lot of expectations but was extremely disappointed. Their 'self-service' system is good for sweets and snack outlets, but when you claim it's a 'proper' restaurant, this system isn't reasonable (as a customer, I wasn't expecting 'self-service' at least here). You have to take rounds to go to the food counter and then to the beverages counter (i mean restaurant mein jaakar Banda baithey ya bas yahan se wahan chakkar lagaye?) The Cafe Mocha was overpriced (served in a medium sized disposal cup) and the crispy baby corn was a hard nut to crack, in the literal sense. They provided a plastic fork that couldn't sustain the 'crispiness' and died an early death. Then came another plastic fork and then another plastic fork!
I guess I'm never going back to...

THE MAIN THING I REALLY HATED ABOUT THIS PLACE IS WHEN I WAS SITTING WITH MY FEMALE FRIEND AND WAITING FOR THE FOOD ONE COOK CAME OUT FROM THE KITCHEN AND HEADING TOWARDS THE RECEPTION AND ON HIS WAY HE WAS LITERALLY LOOKING AT MY FRIENDS TOP AND HE JUST TURNED AROUND PUT HIS HEAD DOWN TO HER . WHEN HE WAD RETURNING FROM THE RECEPTION HE AGAIN DID THE SAME I WAS JUST SHOCKED AND I JUST CAN'T ABLE TO SAY SOMETHING BECAUSE OF ANGER HOW REDICULOUS IS THAT PERSON. I M VERY DISAPPOINTED SERIOUSLY MY FRIEND WAS LOOKING AT HER PURSE SO SHE DIDN'T NOTICE . IF SOME ONE HAS ANY DOUBT U CAN VISIT THE RESTAURANT AND ASK THEM TO SHOW THE CCTV FOOTAGE IT WILL BE VERY CLEAR . .
JUST BECAUSE OF THAT GUY I WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN. SUCH A DISGUSTING...
