Yesterday I went with my family to have dinner here, we reached restaurant Pretty late around 11:30 pm but we did ask them till when their hotel is open before reaching they told us it's open till 12:45 and they take last order by this time.
So we reached and from start itself the service was questionable We were 15 members They told us seating is for 12 people Rest 3 can seat themselves on other seperate table While we told them to join the table and give us some extra chairs we all can manage they were not in favour of this initially, later they agreed. Then when we placed order for starters they were insisting it will take time so we should order something else but then they said one of the starter is not available at all, and they changed our whole order of starters by saying the starters they are recommending will be cooked quickly and in time we agreed and went by their recommendation.
They took so much of time to serve basic masala papad For tissues, water and spoon refills we had to repeatedly remind them. For taking away the plates after we were done eating starters from the the tables we had to call them.
We ordered fresh lime soda and butter milk which arrived after we were almost done eating dinner, fresh lime soda they had forgotten totally which we reminded them upon which they were asking if we want to cancel while we told we need it.
We ordered Dal and Rice upon which Dal arrived and around 10 minutes later we got the rice on table which at this point we thought they have forgotten to make the rice, after 1:00 am the staff and person taking order were not present as much as they should be for taking orders and providing basic services to its customers.
For one family member we asked if they have sabudana wada as she had navratri fast they said if we want to place this order we should inform how many plates are required all at once and we cannot order one after another which is disappointing.
They told us around 1:00 am they are in process to close the kitchen hence the delay in the orders which we placed in last which was dal and rice.
At time of bill payment our bill was approx 7k on which they said they can't give 10% discount which is basic, upon speaking with owner their reasons for not giving discount were They don't charge GST, which is actually they are fooling us it's just they are not showing GST is inclusive in price and hence not being shown in bill. The prices are reasonable hence they cannot give discount which is actually not my problem as a customer. They took our orders after kitchen closing time. All the above reasons for not giving discount is not my problem.
They didn't take accountability for lack of service rather poor service upon much discussion they gave discount and while I am speaking the owner is cutting me in between and not letting me speak. Many restaurants give discount on even a bill of 1500 but they were refusing to give us on bill of 7000.
They should have informed us they will not take order beyond a certain time that would have been feasible for us and them and we understand that.
Rather taking orders and giving poor services cannot make the customer happy.
P.S. I have no issues with food quality, quantity and taste nor I have issues with price of the food.
And this being a established restaurant since years providing such quality food but since years their customer service when you go for dine in is poor to...
