I am visiting Ulhasnagar after a while. Wanted to treat my family a good feast. After talking with few friends, online reviews and photos we decided that we are going to have a get together in Mayur hotel (Pride of Ulhasnagar!), that is what they are advertising.
It was Saturday night party and we were group of 20-22 people so i called them in advance to make sure we get good comfy seating. We were told separate room was already reserved but they can have us seated in there famous Masala Cabana.
When we reached it was a shock to see that they are accommodating all 20 of us in a seating of 10 people. At that point i did not had any option as I cannot call of the party.
When we started ordering food waiter just forced us to order stater of there choice. Convincing that will be the best. And service was so pathetic that all of my guests were frustrated. And true feedback about food is that it was good but not that great as they advertise.
After the starter order the waiters just disappeared as there were so many people in the restaurant that staff could not handle.
The message to hotel is pls stop advertising as pride of Ulhasnagar. Best food is available in so many places in Ulhasnagar we expect the service from the restaurants of this category. Grow up guys!!! Just advertisements cannot take you to the top. It not that I asked for discounts or anything. Read moreOkay! So we decided to check the Masala Cabana restaurant since it's newly renovated and we thought it'd be worth a try. The interior is amazing. It's a refreshing look to the old Mayur Hotel. The evening that started great just went downhill. We were there to celebrate our Mum Dad's anniversary. From the starters to the Main course (except Dal Tadka & French Fries) everything that was served was Cold. Like, how is it possible that all food served is cold. The biggest let down was the existence of cockroaches on our table (Check Pics). And when we mentioned this to the waiter, he smirked at us. When we did order the main course, it took more than 45 minutes for the main course to arrive. We assumed that was the worst of it. Well! it wasn't. The ordeal didn't end there. When we finally did ask for the bill, it took them exactly 40 minutes to get us the bill. And the funny part was it had errors, cost included for dishes we didn't get!. Once I asked for the correct one, it took 10 more minutes and when I did ask the manager, that if it's such a pathetic service on a weekday then what happens on weekends, the response was "Sir, yahan everyday yeh hi hota hai!" and my response was "WOW". Read more“This Hotel has become Worst from being Good Earlier” Very Bad Service. I ordered a Paneer Dish, they didn’t made as we wanted, Hence, I immediately Rejected the Plate. They refused for Order Cancellation. This is Pure Cheating, They Forced the Amount in the Bill. I Rejected the Order, still they Added the Item in Final Bill. No Customer Hospitality, Their Chef has been Changed. The Hotel isn’t same as earlier. I felt bad, being a Regular Customer. This Hotel is always booked for some or other parties or Reservations, Hence, They Take Customers for Granted. High Prices. Hotel has Downgraded its Standard, Quality & Service. Parking Area had space, but Staff said Parking is Full. We Scolded them as we could clearly saw area to park inside. This is Absolute Thugness.
