We went to a friend's place at Ulhasnagar that's how a visit to this beautiful temple got planned. Since we went in the afternoon so there was hardly anyone around. We first entered through a narrow stone step into the terrace of the temple. The terrace has a big Shiva statue made in golden color, during the evening they have lights put on to make it look more elegant. After that you walk down the narrow aisle/ staircase and enter into the main shrine. Once you have taken a blessing you can walk towards a cave inside which is magical. They have replicas of every Dham , jyotirlinga and other significant temples in India. You have to pay a minimal price and also the photography inside is prohibited. You go down from one side and come out from the other end which shows that they have created a mini cavern system inside the temple itself. Read moreIt is very nice. And it felt very nice to visit. The mind becomes devotee. The best option to go to this place is to walk from Vitthalwadi station west. It is not much, if you walk well, it takes only 15 minutes. The special feature of this temple is the huge idol of Lord Shiva. There is a crowd of devotees who come from far to see this idol. And the special thing is that a cave has been built here and replicas of the places of various gods and goddesses have been made there. When you go here, you feel like you are actually there. The mind is literally overwhelmed by this entire journey. I think it is a place that everyone should visit at least once. Welcome to the devotees who come.
