Authentic Korean Delight at Hanvit

We visited Hanvit Restaurant as a group of three and absolutely enjoyed the experience to the fullest!

We ordered Korean BBQ, veg yaki noodles, non-veg yaki noodles, hot and sour broth with pork belly + rice, and rotboki (a delicious mix of tteokbokki + ramen), cheese sea weed rolls. To our surprise, the staff generously served us tofu stew and egg stew on the house — such a thoughtful gesture!

The portions were extremely generous and worth every penny. We honestly overestimated our capacity and ended up with lots of food we sadly couldn’t take back to our hostel — otherwise, it would’ve been a treat for the next day too.

Taste, quality, and quantity — everything was on point. The hospitality of the staff really elevated the experience, making us feel welcomed and taken care of.

I ordered “Samgyupsal” because I wanted to cook it myself and have the korean experience,but they simply cooked it themselves and served without even bothering to ask if I wanted the food cooked or not

I just wanted to have the korean experience of cooking it myself and have it peacefully but unfortunately they judged me and served the samgyupsal cooked because im no korean!!

Ive been to several other korean restaurants in G.noida,Noida,Delhi,Nagaland as well and never faced such an issue ,but this particular restaurant was just depressing and not forgetting the pricing it was skyrocketing 🚀

We were also not late ,infact other people who came after us were cooking and having a fun time

Maybe consider asking the customer next time if they want it cooked or not, what’s the point of installing all the smoke exhaust and stove if you’re all going to simply serve the food cooked without even being asked ,not a well...

This restaurant discriminates against Indian customers.

While the food and experience is usually quite alright, they not only tend to stereotype Indians (my food was full of green chilies because as per the staff lady, other Indians ask for it), they do not apologise, offer a replacement or anything constructive. In fact, the wait staff refused to apologise, making someone else from the staff do so, and then only after I pointed it out.
