Hey foodies! So today, I’m taking you on a delicious journey to one of Lucknow's culinary gems—Mubeen! If you haven’t been here yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place is like a food treasure chest, and their kulcha nihari? Oh my gosh, it’s to die for! Picture this: fluffy, buttery kulchas paired with rich, flavorful nihari that just melts in your mouth. It’s the kind of comfort food that warms your soul and makes every bite feel like a hug. Seriously, it’s a must-try if you’re in town! But wait, there's more! Mubeen isn’t just about that amazing kulcha nihari; they also serve the best pasinda kabab in all of Lucknow. These kababs are so tender and juicy that you’ll be dreaming about them long after your meal. The spices they use? Absolute perfection! So whether you're grabbing a quick bite or planning a feast with friends, Mubeen should definitely be on your list. Trust me, once you try their kulcha nihari and pasinda kabab, you’ll understand why this place is so beloved by locals and food lovers alike. So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends and head over to Mubeen. Your taste buds will thank you later! And don’t forget to let me know what you think in the comments! Happy eating!

I visited Mubeen's Restaurant at Chowk with my friends & it was a delightful experience, especially as we were craving some authentic Mughlai non-veg food. The moment our order arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. We tried the Chicken Barra and Pasinda Kebab, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The food was cooked to perfection, with rich flavors that left us thoroughly satisfied. It was everything we hoped for and more. Although, the space was a bit of a letdown. The restaurant was quite crowded, and the lack of proper seating or calm ambience made it a little overwhelming. So, if you’re someone who values a peaceful dining experience, this might not be the best choice. However, if food is your priority, Mubeen’s is a fantastic spot to indulge in some top-notch Mughlai delicacies. In short, Mubeen’s delivers an authentic and flavorful experience for food lovers. While it may not win points for its atmosphere, the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of Lucknow’s Mughlai heritage!

Review: Mubeen’s – A Flavorful but Crowded Experience in Lucknow Located in the heart of Akbari Gate, Mubeen’s is a well-known name for Mughlai delicacies, but getting here is an adventure in itself. The narrow, congested streets make it difficult to reach by car in the evening, so taking an auto or bike is the best option. The place has two floors and is always jam-packed, a clear sign of its popularity. I tried the Nihari with Sheermal, and while the taste was good, with a spicy kick and tender meat, the hygiene was a concern. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the nihari is cooked to a soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture, making it satisfying. However, the overall cleanliness of the place could be improved. Verdict? If you’re after authentic flavors and don’t mind the crowded setting, Mubeen’s is worth a try. But if hygiene is a priority, you might want to think twice. Good food, but not without its drawbacks! 🍛🔥

If you are seeking an authentic culinary experience that takes you back to the flavors of the 16th century Awadh, Mubeen's is a must-visit destination. This hidden gem not only tantalizes your taste buds with its scrumptious Nihari-Kulcha, but also delights you with a range of delectable kebabs, flavorful chicken barra, and heavenly shermals.

From the moment you step into Mubeen's, the ambiance transports you to an era of opulence and regal indulgence. The rustic yet elegant decor, adorned with traditional cuisine and subtle lighting, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Let's dive into the star of the menu, the Nihari-Kulcha. This dish, originating from the 16th century, showcases the perfect marriage of tender slow-cooked meat and aromatic spices. The rich, velvety tari, prepared with a secret blend of traditional spices, coats every succulent piece of meat, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The accompanying kulcha, a traditional bread made with utmost care and precision, complements the Nihari beautifully, providing a soft and slightly crispy texture that enhances the overall experience. Each bite reveals the careful craftsmanship and dedication put into this dish.

The experience at Mubeen's is undeniably fantastic. Nonetheless, the restaurant excels in showcasing the flavors of the Nawabi-Era in a modern setting.

In conclusion, Mubeen's in Lucknow is a treasure trove for non-veg food enthusiasts seeking an authentic taste of 16th-century cuisine. From the tantalizing Nihari-Kulcha to the mouthwatering kebabs, chicken dishes, and shermal bread, each dish is a celebration of tradition and flavor. Embark on a culinary journey and allow your taste buds to be captivated by the flavors of yesteryears at this remarkable...

I visited Lucknow for an official work and found this place while searching for must eat places in lucknow. This was the nearest place to me, hence decided to give it a try. I am total outsider to Lucknow as well as UP.

UBER auto can help u reach there. It inside a narrow gully and very difficult to navigate if ur new to such crowded places. I went around 9 pm, the place looked very very crowded. Looked as if some festival rush. I took a deep breath and decided to jump into the crowd since I travelled a good 30 mins in peak traffic to reach this place. There was No place in ground floor to sit, climbed to 1st floor, no place to sit, climbed to 2nd floor, no place to sit. Then I patiently waited for 20 mins, the floor manager had noticed me waiting and hence he set me up at a stable at 1 st floor.

Right away ordered pasinda and nihari roti- as suggested by many reviewers. Food was good. I also took a half plate of chicken curry. The food was very nice, authentic taste. The entire floor was so crowded- You never know who is the cleaner and who is the waiter. Somehow the waiters have developed a skill for navigating the narrow stairs with 5-6 plates of chicken curry stacked up, without spilling them.

The food was also not very costly For a pasindha ( Half plate) Chicken Curry ( Half plate) One rumali roti and one nihari roti , i paid 275 INR.

The food is good, so, its definitely worth the effort. The place is frequented by families and young people alike.

Cons: Over crowded- AC is suboptimal - obviously because of the crowd. Needs better cleanliness. One who is not very used to street food standards , may feel uncomfortable. 16 hours post food intake - No misadventure in...

Mubeen’s is a legendary non-vegetarian joint nestled in the heart of Old Lucknow’s bustling food hub. Having heard rave reviews, I recently made my way there, and let me tell you—it was an experience to remember!

Ambiance and Atmosphere

The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and busy atmosphere. The place was abuzz with people—a true testament to its popularity.

Culinary Delights

Now, let’s talk about the food. Mubeen’s lives up to its reputation. Here are some highlights:

Nihari Kulchas: These were nothing short of amazing. The kulchas were super crispy, and even a vegetarian could enjoy them with tea as a delightful snack.

Beef Pasanda Kebab: Prepare to be blown away! The beef pasanda kebab is, in my opinion, the best kebab ever. Tender, flavorful, and utterly satisfying.

Chicken Barra: A recent addition to my list of favorites. The taste was quite good, although I found the mutton biryani a tad bland.

Nahari Kulcha: A must-try! The rich flavors of the nahari paired perfectly with the soft kulchas.

The Unconventional Charm

Mubeen’s doesn’t focus on fancy ambiance. Instead, it prioritizes consistent taste. Yes, the place might not be the epitome of hygiene, but it’s old Lucknow—full of character and flavor. Plates may not be spotless, but the food more than compensates for it.

Insider Tip

Don’t miss the pan shop right in front of Mubeen’s. They offer a variety of paans that are worth trying.

In summary, if you’re a true foodie, Mubeen’s is a must-visit. Let your taste buds revel in the authentic flavors of...
