"I am shocked and disgusted after visiting Idrees Biryani, a place that has been overhyped by influencers and misleading reviews. The reality is nothing like what is shown online. The place is filthy beyond words, and I can't believe people are eating in such unsanitary conditions. I traveled from afar to try this 'famous' biryani, but the experience was a complete disaster.

The photos and video I’ve shared say it all. In the video, you can see a worker peeing just 5 feet away from where the food is prepared, and this same person is working in the kitchen! How can such disgusting conditions exist in a place that serves food? It's not just about how the food tastes, but also about how it’s cooked, the cleanliness of the surroundings, and how the staff handles the service. These are the basics that every food establishment must get right, and Idrees Biryani fails miserably on all counts.

A message to influencers and reviewers: When you give glowing reviews for places like this without considering hygiene and safety, you are encouraging them to flourish, and that should never be the purpose of a review. Reviews should be based on a wholesome experience – how the food is cooked, the cleanliness of the surroundings, the behavior and hygiene of the staff, and the quality of service. All of these should be taken into consideration. I wish I could give this place a -100 rating, but unfortunately, there’s no option for that on Google.

If people still think this place is okay, then they are not respecting the sacredness of food. For me, food is like a blessing, and anything unhygienic carries no positivity. Consuming food from such a place shows a complete disregard for health. It’s your choice, but I highly advise against it.

We have already raised a complaint with the food department, urging them to check the conditions in which the food is served. The video proof is attached to show exactly how bad the conditions are. I have done my part by giving an unbiased review, providing proof, and raising a formal complaint. Now, do your part and stop supporting places like this. Our money is more valuable than wasting it on disgusting places like this. Be wise and choose where you spend your hard...

Idrees Biryani, situated in the Chowk area of Lucknow, is a renowned establishment celebrated for its authentic Awadhi biryani. The restaurant offers a straightforward dining experience, focusing primarily on its culinary offerings.

Ambience and Seating: The eatery is modest, with limited seating capacity that can accommodate approximately 10 patrons at a time.

Due to its compact size and basic setup, it may not be the most comfortable setting for families or large groups. Many customers prefer to opt for takeout to enjoy the food in a more comfortable environment.

Service: Service at Idrees Biryani is efficient, with a focus on quick turnover due to the high demand. However, the limited staff and seating can lead to a bustling atmosphere, especially during peak hours.

Hygiene: The restaurant maintains basic hygiene standards. While some patrons have expressed concerns regarding cleanliness, others find the straightforward setup acceptable given the quality of food offered.

Pricing: One of the appealing aspects of Idrees Biryani is its affordability. The generous portions and rich flavors provide value for money, making it accessible to a broad range of customers.

Conclusion: Idrees Biryani stands as a significant part of Lucknow's

culinary heritage, offering a taste of traditional Awadhi biryani that continues to draw both locals and visitors. While the dining environment is basic and may not cater to those seeking a more refined setting, the quality and flavor of the biryani make it a worthwhile experience. For an authentic and flavorful biryani experience in Lucknow, Idrees Biryani is a...

When it comes to authentic Awadhi Biryani, there’s no place that comes close to Idrees Biryani, situated opposite Patanala Police Chowki, Victoria Street, Chowk. This legendary eatery has set the gold standard for biryani in Lucknow, and I haven’t met a single person who didn’t love it.

The biryani here is truly a masterpiece—fragrant, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with tender, succulent meat that melts in your mouth. Each grain of rice is infused with aromatic spices, making it a treat for every biryani lover. While some may complain about the small space, lack of proper seating, or cleanliness issues, let’s be honest—if you want to relish the best biryani in town, this is the place to be. And if you’re waiting for a renovation or expansion, don’t hold your breath—Idrees Biryani has no plans of changing anytime soon!

Beyond biryani, they also serve Nihari with Kulcha, Mutton Stew, Sheermal, Mutton Korma, and Chicken Korma. I personally love their Mutton Korma—the pieces are soft, juicy, and bursting with flavor. People travel from far and wide just to get a taste of their food, and the long queues outside are proof of their unmatched popularity.

One important thing to note: They don’t accept online payments and don’t sell through platforms like Swiggy or Zomato—a sign in the restaurant makes that crystal clear. The owner, Mr. Abu Bakar, personally oversees the cooking process, ensuring that every dish maintains the same legendary taste and quality.

If you haven’t tried Idrees Biryani yet, you’re missing out on a true Lucknowi culinary gem. Highly...

Idrees Biryani – Highly Overrated & Unhygienic Experience ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Idrees Biryani is one of the most talked-about places, but my recent visit was a complete disappointment. Despite the hype, the taste of the biryani was just average – nothing special, nothing extraordinary. The flavors were flat, and the spices weren’t well-balanced. If you're expecting a rich, aromatic experience, this place will surely let you down. 👎 The biggest turn-off was the hygiene – it deserves just 1★. The place was filthy with dirty surroundings, and the plates given to customers were among the dirtiest I have ever seen! 🤢 Even the cooking style appeared extremely unclean, making me question the food’s safety. Basic hygiene seems to be completely ignored here! 🚫 Another major issue was the lack of arrangements. The place was overcrowded with no proper seating, so you’re forced to stand and eat. 🏃‍♂️💨 On top of that, there was no proper drinking water facility, which is essential when serving spicy food. Extremely poor management! 😡 Overall, Idrees Biryani is way too overrated. The taste is mediocre, and the hygiene conditions are alarming. If you care about cleanliness and comfort, this place is not worth visiting. ❌ There are far better biryani spots with great taste and a hygienic dining experience. Avoid it if you value your health! 🚷
