100 years old chaat shop famous for Tikki & Padi Chaat 🤤
Hey guys! If you’re in Lucknow, especially in Aminabad for shopping or just hanging out, you absolutely HAVE to check out Pandit Chaat Corner. Trust me, this place is a local gem!
Established back in 1927, it’s been serving up some of the best chaat in town for generations. Their Aalu Tikki is legendary—super crispy and bursting with that perfect chatpata flavor! Seriously, one bite and you’ll be hooked.
But wait, let’s talk about their Papdi Chaat. Oh my gosh! It’s a flavor explosion. You’ve got samosa, palak, papdi, pakodi, batasha, matar—all piled high with chutney and dahi. It’s like a party in your mouth! This is my personal favorite, and I can’t recommend it enough.
So, whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or looking for something to fuel your shopping spree, make sure to swing by Pandit Chaat Corner. You won’t regret it!

Read moreI visited this shop to eat some chaat and gol gappe. I chose this shop as it has so much popularity and many food bloggers praised it's eatables. I tried chaat. I found it of very basic taste, seems nothing as per popularity. Then I ate gol gappas, again same experience. Very basic, nothing special except one thing that's price. They charged Rs. 60/- and Rs. 20/- for chaat and gol gappa. I found both very expensive as per quality, quantity and taste. This shop smartly looting the money from its customers only because of its fake popularity. All other shops nearby serves better quality chaat and gol gappa at Rs. 25-30 and Rs. 10/- only. I felt looted and cheated...

The golgappe were spot on: plain stuffing, sharp tangy water that hits the right spot. The mixed chaat platter gave a small taste of everything on offer, while the tikki was done just right — crisp on the outside with the right condiments. The matara was a bit on the dry side, but overall the flavors stayed true to the old-school Lucknowi style. You’ll have to wander into the Aminabad book market to find this hidden gem, but it’s worth every step. Highly recommended for anyone who values...
