Read moreMy Awesome Experience at the Sassy Canteen and Milliways Inc. Event! We recently travelled to the pop-up that Sassy Canteen and Milliways Inc. from Mumbai put on in Lucknow, and it was a huge hit. From August 14th to 17th, they served an amazing mix of Japanese, Pan-Asian, and Awadhi food, and it felt like all the local food lovers were there with me.
The food was just fantastic! I tried a bit of everything, and my favourites were definitely the delicious Ramen bowls on offer, their evergreen star Sushi boat, Baos, and their classic platters highlighted by Galawat and Jimmykand ke Kebabs. The Barista/Bartender and his beverages deserve special mention as well as we were served with some refreshing and delicious drinks during our frequent visits in those three days. The Vietnamese coffee, cappuccino, matcha detox, and other mocktails were top notch.
On top of the great food, the restaurant had a wonderful ambience that made the entire experience very Sassy. The staff was also incredibly friendly and seemed to know everything about the food they were serving.
We were so impressed by the chefs—Bhasker and Himani Mishra from Sassy Canteen, and Ashwin Ramachandran from Milliways Inc. You could tell that their planning, and skills made the whole thing possible. For me, the collaboration was a total success and really showed that Sassy Canteen is one of the best spots for creative food in the city of Nawabs! Will be visiting again soon and will also be travelling to Mumbai, as I am not yet done with the Ramen Bowls by...

We, as a fam, spent a lazy, sunny winter afternoon basking ourselves in the beautiful, private, quiet & serene patio seating outside. The food was finger licking good & we enjoyed both Indian & Oriental cuisines. 👌👌
But still 1 ⭐ less for food - Coz, 1) we found the portioning of Oriental dishes esp., a bit too small. 2) The Mojito wasn't mentioned in the menu yet was available but it was served in a Hi-ball glass. 😬 Not only the presentation but also the quantity was insufficient. Had to order another. 3) FLIES - No one would like having flies sit on their food (expensive or otherwise). As the sun settled, flies pestered more. PLEASE do something about it. 4) Rice wasn't served with Goan Prawn Curry. Needs to be pointed out by order takers. After Thai Green Curry, we took it for granted that Indian Gravies will also have rice/bread served along. Had to order separately.
But ALL-IN-ALL... We Absolutely Looooved everything about Sassy Canteen & are already planning our next visit & what food to order. 😄 The Menu is EXTENSIVE & we got super confused on what to order. But everything was DELICIOUS!
Paid : 6500/- for 4 people. (5 drinks + 1*2 soup + Smoked mushroom dumplings + non veg platter + Thai Green Curry ⭐+ Gunpowder chicken + Goan Prawn Curry ⭐ + 1 bowl rice + 1 tandoori roti + Blueberry cheesecake ⭐) Not to forget, the Restaurant Interiors are TOP CLASS & Music was...
