WORST RESTAURANT EVER – DO NOT RUIN YOUR DAY HERE
If I could give negative stars, I would. Garnet Buffet is hands down the most pathetic excuse for a restaurant I’ve ever seen. Went there for my mother’s birthday thinking Swiggy’s good ratings meant something — BIGGEST MISTAKE of my life.
From the start, the staff behaved like they were doing me a massive favor just by talking to me. I asked for a simple birthday table setup — they spoke like I was begging for charity. Called ahead to inform we’d be 15–20 mins late — their response? “Snacks will be over by then.” What kind of hospitality is this?
We reached and were treated like garbage. Staff was extremely rude, kept pestering us to cut the cake IMMEDIATELY like we were delaying their life goals. One guy even hovered around us as if he’d throw the cake away. The vibe was so toxic, it felt like we’d walked into a jail canteen.
The food? DISGUSTING. Bland, cold, and absolutely tasteless. I wouldn’t feed this to a stray dog. Asked them to refill soup — response: “Told you to come earlier.” Wow. Repeatedly asked for water — had to beg 6–7 times before someone finally did it.
Tried giving honest feedback — the manager literally said “I have other guests to attend to.” Excuse me? Are we not paying customers? We came for a celebration and left with regret, anger, and a ruined memory.
This place is FILTHY, poorly managed, staff is arrogant, unhygienic, and completely clueless about hospitality. Trust me — go to a roadside stall, you’ll be treated like royalty in comparison.
Avoid this place like a disease. Absolutely pathetic in every...

I asked for a simple birthday table decoration while booking. They refused flat out, making it clear they weren’t interested in accommodating even basic requests.
When I called to inform them I’d be 15-20 minutes late, the staff responded as if they were doing me a favor by even letting us stay. They kept warning that appetizers and snacks would run out, which felt like badgering rather than informing.
Their attitude was cold and rude throughout. An employee pressured us to cut the cake immediately before dinner started, making the whole moment feel rushed and unpleasant.
The food was bland and tasteless — honestly worse than what you’d get at a roadside dhaba. When I asked for soup refills, I was met with condescending remarks and required several reminders to get water refilled.
The manager was equally dismissive when I gave feedback, saying he had other guests to attend to and showing zero interest in addressing the issues.
The ambiance, service, hospitality, and cleanliness were all way below any acceptable level. What should have been a joyful birthday celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Honestly, I would have had better food and respect at any roadside eatery.
Save yourself the disappointment—don’t waste your time...

The biggest challenge was locating the hotel — it’s quite difficult to find, and better signage would really help.
The drinks were a highlight; I especially enjoyed the Blue Lagoon mocktail. However, the service could use some improvement. Some staff members seemed untrained — one even asked if the AC should be turned on because it was the rainy season, which felt like a lack of common sense. Another was unsure about the menu items.
Among the veg starters, only the dry chilli paneer stood out. Honey chilli potatoes lacked crispiness, and items like fried idli and potato kebabs were disappointing. The chaats (panipuri and bhelpuri) and soup were also below expectations.
The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, and even later, the hall was only half full — which affected the overall vibe. Non-veg starters were decent but served cold.
On the positive side, the sweets section was good — gulab jamun and two ice cream options (chocolate and butterscotch). The veg main course was satisfying, with tasty dal tadka, mix veg, and handi paneer. However, the raita was overly salty, and the butter naan was thick on the edges and unavailable during my second round.
Overall, it’s fair for the price, but there’s room for improvement. Just a suggestion — consider adding items like pizza and increasing the buffet price slightly. It could elevate the experience...
