Ali's might not win any awards for ambience – think simple décor and basic service. It's not the place for a fancy sit-down dinner. But what they lack in frills, they make up for in flavor and value.
This hidden gem is my go-to spot for takeout Mughal cuisine in Dehradun. Their focus is on the food, not the setting, and it shows. The dishes are consistently delicious and won't break the bank.
While I wouldn't recommend dining in, their takeout is fantastic. The portions are generous, perfect for sharing or satisfying a craving.
So, if you're looking for top-notch Mughlai food at a budget-friendly price, look no further than Ali's. Just grab your order to go and savor the deliciousness in the comfort of...

Read moreHad a terrible experience and so never going here again. Went for the first time leaving my usual Punjab restaurant for butter chicken and naan. Told them to keep the curries without chillies but they were extremely hot 🥵. Kids almost puked at first bite.
Ordered butter chicken and korma for take away but they packed korma in both packs. Biryani rice not basmati but boiled rice. Biryani tasted old. Very poor quality food. No flavour but chillies and oil. Better go to Punjab Restaurant if looking for genuine flavour and authentic food.
Please don't go to waste your money...
