The Tavern — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Fish was insipid inside . The grilled veggies looked like they had polio - thin, limp and burnt

I've grown up eating Pahadi food and this is typically super tasty - here, the red rice was under cooked and the dals didnt taste good at all.

Recommendation - try the restaurant Hinge , just opposite. Very nice chicken stroganhoff or try Radisson which is on the other side of town but nice grilled fish - for approximately the same price

If you just have to eat here , id suggest try the pizzas - they have a wood fired oven and they looked good...

Extremely disappointing experience at The Tavern Restaurant. The place was overcrowded, and despite waiting patiently, not a single staff member came to attend to us. The table we managed to get was dirty, and when we requested the staff to clean it, they simply turned a blind eye.

To make things worse, they expect you to place orders via WhatsApp — which was completely unresponsive. No one cared to check or assist even after repeated messages. For a place with such hype, the service was shockingly poor. Definitely not...

Best food in town, delicious food at good price. I had guests coming in last minute and had a huge group of 12ppl. I ordered food from Tavern without any doubt, the food was tasty & delivered in time. Good experience!

I will recommend this place for both Dine in & Home Delivery!
