Chai Sutta Bar Rajender Nagar Dehradun — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Recently, I visited Chai Sutta Bar in Rajender Nagar, Dehradun, with my sister, and it was an amazing experience✌️. The cozy ambiance combined with the aroma of freshly brewed chai made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quiet evening.

We ordered two cups of Adrak Chai, a plate of Pav Bhaji, and two Bun Maska. The Adrak Chai was perfectly brewed, with just the right balance of spice and warmth, a true delight for chai lovers. The Pav Bhaji was deliciously rich and flavorful, served with soft buttery pavs that complemented the bhaji perfectly. The Bun Maska was light and fluffy, with just the right amount of butter making it melt in the mouth.

The quality of the food and beverages exceeded our expectations, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s rare to find such a gem where everything on the menu is executed so well. Pros- The prices are competitive. The food was really good. They have a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and tea accompaniments. I actually loved their cheese garlic bread. And the adrak tea was great too. The kulhad is a nice touch. (Although the use of disposable paper plates has rendered the use of eco-friendly clay cups moot!) The placement of the cafe is great, and the ambience is interesting.

Cons- Very disappointing experience. The hygiene of the place was well below standards. There were cockroaches and insects crawling around in a merry daze on the counter tops. The bamboo furniture is nice, but ill maintained. And the design of the tables is very odd. They barely contain the tea cups, and majority of them are wobbly. The serving time is very long, and as it's a prime location, the place is very crowded on the weekends. You'll have to wait a long time without food or a comfortable...
