Biryani By Kilo - Dehradun — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

@biryanibykilo opened a new outlet in Dehradun. And it was Christmas but it was my office unfortunately and i was craving for something very food for lunch but due to crowd in the city, I didn't feel like go to somewhere, So i thought to order something online. @zomato has made things very easy for days like that. ❤

Murg Lucknawi Biryani 1/2kg with Raita.

Chicken Ghee Roast.

Ulte Tawa ka Paratha.

Double ka meetha. I was surprised with the quality as well as quantity. Biryani was prepared in Earthen Matki and sealed with a dough. This outlet is one of those outlets which prepare biryani for seperately for all orders in these Matki itself. ❤️ And they also send aanch 🔥 to warm up matki if your biryani gets cold due to some reasons. Flavours were just so good in biryani that i felt that lucknawi swaad in it. 😍

My personally fav. Was the combo of Chicken Ghee Roast and Ulte Tawa ka Paratha. Chicken in the gravy felt so juicy and spicy that it made my whole day. 😍 And will be forever in top of my list. Finally the kast dessert thing, 😍 Double Ka Meetha was just perfectly sweet with roasted Dry Fruits on it. Nothing at all disappointed me from this place and now i can tell anyone my fav. place for north indian and biryani. 🤤

After this issue, I was contacted by the team at Biryani By Kilo (Ballupur branch). I had a conversation with Mr. Manoj Kumar, the branch manager, who personally acknowledged the problem and sincerely apologized for the unpleasant experience. He gave me complete assurance that such an incident will not be repeated in the future.

I also received a replacement biryani, which was absolutely fresh, flavorful, and up to the standard expected from Biryani By Kilo. Mistakes can happen, but their quick response and the effort to make things right were appreciated. I hope they continue maintaining these standards...

Pros : -The food is amazing. -I have visited multiple times just because of the taste.

Cons : -The starter they provide as complimentary is based on table and not based on people. Either you charge money or better you don't give because it makes no sense to offer bites of 2 papad between 8 people The staff serving you the food is responsible for cleaning the wash basin and washrooms. What the hell, I experienced it for the last time. The lady was managing housekeeping and counter as well apart from serving food. There are no offers on special occasions, even if you are frequent visitor and planning to through parties here. Parking space is least. Hardly 2 four wheeler. Employees working here are kind as they have to keep up their job and trying to...
