No chimneys of kitchen. If you go in rush hour at 830 pm sunday, be ready to inhale the food preparation smoke. Today it was filled with smoke, i told the guard to open the door, to de smoke the area, he was reluctant. Probably that's the way he is told to maintain smoky environment. Fish market shouting of tokens by kitchen staff. If by chance you ordered by cash, then it is a nightmare. Because you have to keep your continuous focus on the kitchen people, that they might shout your token like 44 no, and then you have to run to grab your food from the counter. 3.There is no token display, and if you order food from 5 chefs of different types, eg chola baturea, south indian, so you receive multiple token numbers, without any written number, probably to test your memory, that you can remember, that 44 for chola, 23 for dosa, 13 for lasssi. 4.If ordered online, then 70 rs convieince fee added,, and bill will not be given for any such transactions, so it becomes difficult to know, ... alas such big brands doing so , what about small shopkeepers or restaurants If you need to order water, go to app, scroll for water, add to cart, check out cart , pay online and soon.. in 5 to 10 minutes your water 💧, precious water 500 ml for 53 rupees will arrive, If you are 4 to 5 people and you want to avoid spending on expensive , precious mineral drinking water, get ready to keep running to and fro to the opening door to get free water in paper glasses to your seat, with one focus on the howling of token numbers. Good balancing practice of water filled paper glasses and manoeveur yourself to your seat If by chance you or kiddy or elderly need to use washroom , go out of door, catch a lift to ground , search for it,,freshen up, take the lift back and you have achieved victory. If only one or two person, single dish order and that too online , then it is ok Huge shortage of waiters at haldi ram, so if you like the food, order it for home, your...
Read moreWe began our visit with a nostalgic combo — Cutting Tea paired with Mathi. While the idea had promise, the execution fell slightly short. The tea lacked the comforting sweetness one expects, and it wasn’t until we added a sugar sachet that it began to resemble the classic flavor profile we were craving.
Fortunately, things took a delightful turn with the Special Veg Thali, which truly delivered on every front. It was a wholesome, satisfying spread that felt both indulgent and balanced. The dal makhni was rich and creamy, the paneer gravy flavorful and comforting, and the mix vegetable sabzi added a nice medley of textures and spices. The mixed vegetable raita offered a cool contrast, while the rice and bread selection — a baby laccha paratha and a butter naan — were fresh and well-prepared. A side of tomato-cucumber-onion salad, crispy papad, pickle, and a warm gulab jamun rounded out the thali beautifully. Every element had its place, and together they created a satisfying and complete meal.
The Rajma Chawal was wholesome as well.
To end on a sweet note, we opted for the Sweet Lassi, which was exactly what we hoped for — thick, creamy, and unapologetically sweet. A perfect conclusion.
The ambience of 2-storey outlet was calm and welcoming — clean, comfortable, and ideal for both a quick bite or a slow, relaxed meal. A special mention to Yogesh, who was courteous and extremely helpful. His guidance and clarity helped us make the right choices, adding a personal touch to...
Read moreWorst Experience at Haldiram – Highly Disappoined
I recently visited Haldiram with the hope of enjoying a good meal and a pleasant outing, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a food outlet.
Right from the moment I stepped in, the staff was completely non-supportive and unprofessional. I tried reaching out to them multiple times for basic services, but instead of helping, they kept dodging me and each time referred me to someone else. It felt like they were deliberately avoiding any responsibility.
What shocked me the most was their behavior when I requested to get the food packed as they were out of bread, They passed me around from one counter to another, with no one taking the initiative to assist. Not only that, but a few of the staff members even started laughing and whispering among themselves, making me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected.
As a customer, I expected basic courtesy and a minimum standard of service — neither of which were provided. It's disheartening to see such a well-known brand allowing this level of negligence and poor treatment from their team.
I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to treat customers with the respect and assistance they deserve. I definitely won’t be recommending this outlet to anyone...
