HOTEL CENTRAL PALACE — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

The lady for house keeping in the hotel is totally ill mannered. She don't know to whom she is talking. The other lady is even more worst. When ever she use to pick the phone some one of the other use to call for apology. Now what is this? Why do you keep such people, or are they working free for you???? I and four more families with us, two on the same floor and two on 3rd floor. We were there, just because of the owner. We know him personally. He is very good and polite. All the time some of the other person coming and saying , " sirji please complain mat karna, please. Inko bolney ki tameej ni hai" . House keeping ko bulao, and the answer comes, " abhi hum busy hai, hotel mein aur rooms bhi hotey hain. Two days sometimes 3 days use to pass that we use to get our bedsheets done . All in all, we had a bitter experience with the house keeping ladies. They should be polite and welcoming as per their post and job work. Otherwise, the staff was totally wonderful. Polite boys , polite and smiley reception everything good....

Hotel is nice but their staffs are rude specialy front office and kitchen staff. They even don't bother to guest problem. Actually I ordered some thing from kitchen at 10.45 pm but the staff said that sorry we accept orders only till 10.30pm and I asked them that I am not feeling well please give me anything at eat and I asked them to did not inform me for timming they said in rudely that kitchen is closed. I request to front office manager also but he also deny to serve me anything. Now please you tell me where is my fault I do not inform from hotel for kitchen timming and it's not there menu rates are also so high like five star TEA is around 60 rs. They charged 3000 rs.one day room like a star hotel but for service they treat like budget hotel. Even I order morning tea with butter toast but they served me in a cup and butter toast in papper napkin I asked to serve with good manner they denied to serve it. It's useless to expense such money in this kind of hotel. Totaly unsatisfied with...

We started our journey from Dehradun and we opted Hotel Central palace. The main reason was the location which is very near to the railway station. We reached early morning and the hotelier gave us the room with a charge. The rooms were very spacious and the quality of the mattress was also very good. The food over here is a bit expensive and you will find other options just opposite side of the road as well as in nearby areas. The breakfast was included in the room charges. Last but not least the staffs at the hotel are very friendly starting with the housekeeping as well as the front desk. We stayed there from 14th July to 16th July and my birthday was on 16th. My husband bought a cake and asked them to keep it as a surprise for me. The hotel staffs brought the cake at midnight along with sandwiches and coffee from their end. This was really a great gesture and made my day. I would definitely recommend this place for a pleasant stay...
