Recommended by a few. All the hype concluded to an unpleasant afternoon experience. Well the interiors are impressive accompanied by a tidy little bar. Washroom available. Extremely hard to get parking. Stopped by for lunch was greeted at the front door. There after everything went downhill. An unsatisfactory customer service. Was literally rushed to finish my meal & felt I was been encouraged to hit the road. Waiter seemed untrained and mannerless. Will be a long list if I go on point by point. Ordered beer, veg biriyani & mix raita. Super quick service. Food arrived on the table within 10mins. Well biryani tasted like rice mixed with oil. Only thing that seemed right was the chilled beer. Check wasn't served on the table although i requested for it. Waiter stood by me shamelessly waiting for his tip. I did give him a generous tip with a hope that he would behave in future with other customers. Unpleasant experience & will...

Yesterday 17 September we went there for dinner.... Taste of the food was good... I have two complaints... First is that servers in the restaurant are bad mannered .. They just throw the dishes on the table.... They don't greet their customers not even with smile... Same behavior I experienced in their main sweets shop also....Very rude.... Second problem yesterday was we ordered dahi-bhalla.... If it is not available then they said it but no server said yes available when we asked.... But they served vadaa (sambar vada) dipped in curd, it did not soaked dahi so very hard to chew and tasteless..... The fame of Kumar sweet shop is now faded....cost of the food there is of 5 star restaurants but serving attitude and instant made up dishes like dahi vadaa is like 1 star...
