For me, this is one of the best places on earth. I visited this place by chance in 2021 en route to Kedarnath. It was the old Kings cafe then, a quaint little getaway hidden in a corner. It's new avatar is quite good, but nothing can replace the charm and vibe of the old Kings.

Coming back to the cafe. When you enter this place, you leave feeling like a king, i.e. if you are lucky. This place is all about the ambience, the vibe. The people(Raja, Baba etc) are one of the most interesting people you could find. It takes a while to Converse and for them to open up, but once it happens , you find yourself in the lap of serenity. I have made this my refuge during my long and short stays in rishikesh. The owner is one of the most interesting people and if you are lucky and fortunate to hear him sing, your trip to Rishikesh is worth it.

The food is great as well but for me , Kings is all about the vibe. Will definitely keep coming...

I couldn't recommend this place enough! The warmth and friendliness of the place is seen throughout the whole experience. The inside is very comfortable with many instruments available to use, as well as fans to cool down from the heat. The outside is a beautiful lounge area to relax and enjoy the breeze. The manager, Baba, is the kindest soul and is such an interesting person to converse with. The food is absolutely divine, as well as the drinks. I recommend the spinach mushroom burger, as well as the paneer sandwich. The nutella pancake is enough to satisfy any sweet tooth cravings, however be prepared for the portion as they are definitely for someone who's hungry. Lastly, the vibe at the place is perfect to meet new people and there is often live music being played where you can join in, thanks to Nick and his guitar. Could not recommend this place enough if...
