They say it's a tree house cafe, but there's nothing like a tree house, secondly we have arrived in Rishikesh in the morning, and we have waited for so long for this cafe to get opened, as the opening time was mentioned 8:00 AM, but when we went there to have some breakfast they were like in a hangover and when we asked, is it opened? They shouted at us in a very different manner (uncivilized) no no not open, then again we visited at 9 am then also the same thing happened, I don't know, if you don't know how to run a cafe then why are you mentioning, that it opens at 8AM and we have been there for 4-5 times, we have seen crowd like drunkards, which they serve them with obedience and also there's a problem in Rishikesh, here foreigners are treated well enough than Indians, we have seen foreigners having one thing and then staying in the cafe for 1-2 hrs, but what happened with us we ordered 2 cold coffees and paneer noodles, and we waited like half an hour and the whole cafe was empty and as I said, we have been there for 4-5 times, but still having a social connection with the host didn't helped us, the host tried to make us leave his cafe by telling his staff that your bill is this much, and the other things are intended to be understood by us! So, the things we didn't like, is that firstly you don't have the reception head staff to talk nicely to the customers, secondly please don't discriminate between foreigners and Indians, this is really uncalled for. We used to visit it whenever we reached Rishikesh, but from now on, it's better for them to take their ego and pride and go to the Ganges to wash it out. We have some photos of the cafe, but we think it would be an effort for us to share them, which we think its better not to waste...
Read moreOne of my favourite spots to hangout now in lacman jhula since two tears. Dilip bhai is very great man, helping, and serves the best hospitality. With a cool touch to this cafe, they have two big trees growing inside and then the portions of the food are huge. I for one don't eat salad so you might want to ask them to give you less or no salad as per your likes, its cheaper compared to the restraints in the vicinity. Also the Music is melodic, nothing too loud and i asked him so i found out, he personally doesn't prefer loud and noisy bollywood musoc, but yeah sometimes its like one somg on...
