Re of my wife opinions We ordered a cup of tea. My husband ask if there is some space in the cafe to sit so the owner first checked what we ordered and simply said NO in a very bad tone. I know the rate of a cup of tea is very less but saying NO straight makes no sense and honestly there was a vacant table. We were discussing further to take a snack but seeing the attitude we thought of moving out of that place. If you are owing a eatery shop, you should have atleast some basic sense to ask your customer to have a seat or make sure you will make some urgent once there is some opportunity.
After the reply of mr owner of kulhad chai shai : Keep your basic sense to yourself. Neither do i need to learn the basic sense from you neither i dont need to take my level to such a level that people like you teach the basic etiquette. Saw other reviews and lot of those reflect similar sentiments to us, turns out karma will catch up sometime definitely as the owner is busy teaching basic sense and asking that even if the saint misbehaves you need to learn the basic sense as the owner cannot learn that. Visibile in how the guy is responding to the reviews, instead of acknowledgment trying to teach basic sense. Praying to god for...

The Kulhad chai and wall decor attracted us to this place and we tried paneer + veg momos (owner allowed us half n half), ginger tea, and coffee.
I really like the momos, especially the added masala was good! Owner was proactive and humble to ask our feedback.
Coffee was really good!!! Ginger tea could have had stronger ginger taste but it was nice too.
The place is really beautiful, especially the decor and art on the walls. A bunch of kids were happily nibbling on spring rolls, momos, shakes and what not. Safe to say everyone was enjoying here!
I would recommend a little more seating but I'm sure that would be tough.
I do recommend this place to anyone...
Read moreWent to this cafe, tried ordering tea but was not allowed to order only tea. Understandable. Tried ordering momos with tea but that is also not allowed since they need you to spend upto an “undeclared” amount of money or else they will ask you leave in the rains when half of there cafe is empty. 🙏🙏🙏
Edit: please stop lying. First of all we were two persons and were sitting on a table of 4. (There was no table for 2 , where were we supposed to sit). Secondly, we first ordered tea and when you gave us that look, then I asked you for momos as well. Thirdly, what do you mean “rush hours”? Your cafe was literally empty (as it should be).
Please keep a board outside saying that you only serve when the bill is...
