Changing my review to 1 star from 4 star given few months back. I am or shall I say I was a regular customer of this restaurant.
Yesterday i had a very bad experience regarding service and staff behavior. We were of group 31 people, ordering food. I understand the order can take time but less quantity, serving food randomly, few starter before soup, then few soup then some more starter and then again soup and finally blaming customer by staff that being a large group you should have ordered al-carte. We don't treat this much of group without al-carte.
When we inform about less quantity, they said you should have asked waiter to serve full quantity. What the hell is this?? In which restaurant, customer need to ask waiter that bring full quantity. We just order full or half. It's owner duty that customer should get proper quantity.
When we complaint about serving order randomly without following sequence ( soup-starter-main course) then they blamed us for coming with large group and not given pre-order e.g. al-carte.
You could inform this before taking orders from us that you don't serve large group without al-carte or if you taking orders then you should have taken care of us properly.
One last thing, that problems may come in quality, quantity or service in any restaurant but staff should handle the situation with his polite behavior not by starting arguing with customer and blaming them for poor management due to large group.
Finally after upscale argument and recognizing me as regular customer, owner have taken responsibility for all problems and tried to compensate it one scoop of ice cream to each.
My final suggestion, this restaurant is not suitable for large party groups for on the spot order, as they are having few staff and that too not behaving properly. They do not accept credit/debit cards. Accept payment through any app...
Read moreworst venue ever for parties... am not a fan of giving reviews of places, but something happened in our last night party which i think everyone should know. Reasons why i am saying it's a worst venue for parties of a large group:
they dont have enough waiters to serve a large group of people..
when you raise any concerns about anything, they always try to dodge the questions rather trying to solve them.
The concerned manager does not know the basic ethics of doing business. Sometimes he sounds harsh/rude while explaining to a customer.
moreover, they are poor at mathematics, i guess... They told us last night: "because of you guys 90% of customers are getting annoyed." (firstly, who says that to its customers.) but what i couldn't understand is: we were a group of 40. if we were the 10% then according to their statement the number of customers available at that time were 400. lol. this place definitely doesn't have the capacity of 400.
you ll have limited payment options.
and be careful while paying, they have the reputations of adding extra items in your bills. Recheck your bills before paying.
Our party started at 7:30PM and went on till 11:40PM. I mean, what is this... fyi, there were no dances, events etc. Which restaurant takes around 4 hours to serve only starter, main course and desserts. slow service through out.
CONCLUSION:
Just save your valuable time and money, and book anywhere else for parties. Definitely not customer friendly...
Read moreIn total I’d give this place an 8.8/10. My father is close friends with the owner so every time I come to India I usually come here at least once and today they didn’t dissapoint. My favorite food out of everything had to be the Paneer Kathi Roll because of its reasonable quantity and good quality and freshness. I’m not trying to say the other food was bad, but some of it (compared to restaurant standards at least in the US) could be improved, including the chili garlic fried rice and tandoori momos. We got the veg version of everything because we’re being a bit more cautious of the meat here. In the momos, I feel that they lacked flavour in the filling compared to some other places. It’s possible the flavour of the shell of the momo stole the spotlight, but I still think it can improve. Similarly with the fried rice, there was room for improvement in the flavour. We also got the butter paneer which was pretty good. Regarding service, there usually is something that isn’t available at the time at this restaurant, and there were some typos in the menu but face to face service was good. As a final note, definetly try this place out, so 9/10, would...
