The White Rabbit — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

The restaurant has options of outdoor seating on the terrace along with indoor seating which is air conditioned. The terrace also has projector screen where IPL matches were livestreamed when the tournament was going on. Overall, the ambience is nice with decent crowd and there's enough segregation of space that you can choose your ambience. The drinks and food are quite reasonably priced, and if you are from IIT you get a discount as well. They didn't charge service tax the last two times I visited, and as a consequence the bill was very reasonable considering we also ordered a beer tower. We ordered Indian main course items.. such as paneer masala, daal makhni and naan which were quite palatable, and starters like masala papad, mushroom tikka, Afghani chaap, cheese nachos were also quite tasty. Special mention of the chaap which was very well cooked in contrast to many other places where it's undercooked and difficult to bite off and eat. This place was the worst experience for us. We were 15-17 people. We booked it earlier by paying some advance money. They seated us inside. It was humid and hot. The starters were served after half an hour of order placement. The drinks (non-alcoholic) came rather earlier. By the time starters arrived our drinks were gone. Then we ordered main course while having our starters. What to say about that.. it was a terrible experience. Food came after such along time of waiting. About 30-40 min later we had our food that too cancelling one fish dish. Overall, the service was too bad. They served rotis first that too all at once. They went cold after sometime and were ofcourse not edible. Non-veg dish caused indigestion to a few people. Veg items were okay. Lemon butter paneer tasted good in fact. In short, you can go there with friends to have fun. But not with elderly people or with your professors or other senior people as the place is...

It's a very good place for dine-in, it has 3 types of seating spaces (enclosed, semi-enclosed and open). We, a group of 6 friends went for dinner, it was a very pleasant evening, There were enough crew to take orders and serve the food. The semi-enclosed and enclosed area is very decent for parties as well. The food: we just ordered some soups and starters, the taste was really very good and the environment very hygienic. The ambience: the lighting is really very pleasant and external speakers connected to the music are also good. We have experienced the pleasant time. There is also a smoking chamber (I'm just guessing by seeing some space over there). And a person at the entrance looks like a bouncer, (since this place serves alcohol too), probably to avoid any sort of issues. Overall, I can say 4.5/5...
