Ambience- 4/5: Sly Granny has been in existence as a high-end restaurant for 5+ years now, they have already made a name for themselves in Delhi's popular Khan market, Bangalore, and Goa. Sly granny interiors throw off this part modern bohemian part contemporary vibe and with the incorporation of quirky elements that grows on you. The abstract Aztec printed wallpapers add a lot to the character here, while pop art, vivid modern paintings, flower vases and vintage posters stand out like valuable accessories.
Go upstairs and you will witness an incredibly spacious and equally aesthetic rooftop with a pool, and an eye-catching outdoor but glass-covered bar space which lets in more natural ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Food- 4.5/5: Known for its multicultural culinary offerings (American, Italian and Continental) served tapas style and an assortment of prohibition-era cocktails, Sly Granny nails it with the presentation and delectable food quality. Read moreSly Granny as we all know is a franchise restaurant. I am still a little confused after visiting there 2 times already. I have tried a couple of things there. On my first visit i ate an overloaded aglio olio with added non veg like bacon, sausage, chicken etc...It was quite anazing...ever so that i ordered another one to be packed for home. When i reached home i noticed on opening the package that there was a marked difference between the one that was packed and the one i had at the restaurant. The packed dish was less in qty, seemed to be made differently. Giving the benefit of doubt i again re visited Sly on 16th Aug with family. We ordered aglio olio my favorite from there even now, shepherds pie and cannaloni with spinach and feta cheese. Except the aglio olio spaghetti rest both the dishes were disastrous... To start with shepherds pie, it wasn't really a pie..it was just minced meat piped with potato paste and cheese. No flavor and taste. The cannoloni was tilopped with feta cheese which was stinking. Though the manager immediately changed our dish replacingb t with pasta aribiate but that was below average too. Staff is courteous, the washrooms were dirty. Overall not a very great...
Read moreRecently, I had the chance to visit a café that had been on my list for quite some time – SLY GRANNY. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between cozy and quirky, with vintage decor and an artistic vibe that sets it apart from typical cafes.
I ordered two drinks—unfortunately, I can’t recall their exact names—but I can confidently say the taste was unforgettable. Both were refreshingly different, with a unique blend of flavors that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. Whether you’re into mocktails or something more experimental, their beverage menu seems to offer some real gems.
For food, I went with the classic white sauce pasta, and it did not disappoint. The sauce was creamy, the pasta perfectly cooked, and the seasoning just right. It’s one of those dishes that you’d definitely come back for. Along with that, I tried another Italian dish (the name escapes me), but to be honest, it didn’t meet the same standard. The flavors felt a bit off or perhaps not to my liking.
Overall, SLY GRANNY offers a delightful dining experience—great drinks, a solid pasta dish, and a vibe that makes you want to sit back and relax. Worth visiting, just choose your...
